Our spacious 5 bedroom newly renovated home and large garden is very child friendly with an adjoining fully equipped studio making this the perfect space for one or two families holidaying together. Close enough to the quiet beaches of Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay. This house offers both a comfortable retreat and a springboard into the magnificence of the Byron Shire area and surrounding hinterland.
Take a dip in the pool or relax in the spa and breathe in the cleansing country air. Our home is set amongst tropical gardens and trees and is a stone’s throw from the bustling and quaint little town of Mullumbimby with its chic shops, cafes and restaurants.
The house is set on an acre block so plenty of space for children to run around. A huge grassy area down the back with a playground slide, cubby and swings goals for soccer plus a tree house and trampoline mean the children are always entertained.
The main house offers a master bedroom suite queen sized bed with walk-in wardrobe and a new ensuite with shower, large vanity and toilet. Opposite is the 2nd bedroom normally kids bedroom with a double platform bed. Along the corridor is guest bedroom number 3 queen sized bed with a wardrobe and lush views.
The newly renovated luxury family bathroom features a large deep tub, rain shower, large vanity and mirror.
There are three large indoor living areas – a spacious, modern, fully equipped cooks kitchen that has an induction cooktop, dishwasher and large fridge.
The kitchen overlooks a lounge area with two large sofas and a coffee table. Adjacent is a dining table comfortably seating 10 with a TV nook and additional 3 seater sofa.
Our newly created 45 sq m poolside covered deck area is a wonderful sanctuary with outdoor sofas, large beanbags and grassy fire pit area. The outside area also has a dedicated undercover BBQ with Weber gas BBQ.
In addition to the above there is another large covered outdoor entertaining / dining area with very large dining table comfortably seating 14 people with another Balinese couch to relax on.
2 more large bedrooms, TV / Library / games room and fully equipped studio space are located in the 2nd wing of the house.
Bedroom 4 king sized bed and bedroom 5 king single bed both have built in wardrobes and are air-conditioned. The king single room doubles up as an office space for those wanting to do a little work whilst on holiday and leads onto another private deck area with Balinese couch and spa overlooking lush veggie and herb gardens.
The TV room has sofa seating for 10-12 and a 75” Sony plasma TV & DVD player and Netflix. There is also a selection of kids games for use in this room plus an interesting book collection which guests are welcome to browse through and read.
The attached studio private entrance and entry from TV room has a deluxe queen size sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, shower room with toilet, indoor breakfast bar and outdoor seating and eating area looking out to the front garden. The covered outside space also offers a ping-pong / pool table and darts board. Please note the attached studio space effectively makes a 6th bedroom if required but please discuss this with us before hand and extra charges may apply.
To service the entire house there is a well-equipped dedicated laundry room with washer, condenser dryer and sink. Leading off from the laundry is a separate toilet.
There is parking for five cars, plus ample additional on street parking.
There is decent unlimited NBN wireless broadband available throughout the house with approx download speeds of 20 Mbps and upload speeds of 10 Mbps.
Ballina Domestic airport is 40 minutes away, Gold Cost Domestic/International 40 minutes and Brisbane Domestic/International is 2-hour drive.

Guests will be able to access all parts of the house. We do de-clutter the space as much as possible but as this is our home our personal belongings are around. We will give plenty of space in cupboards and drawers etc for you to move in and feel at home.
When the house is rented we live off site but will always be available by phone to help with information about the house if required. Also unless we were travelling whilst the house is being rented we would also be available to drop in if extra assistance was required with anything. Please always feel free to ask and we will always be happy to help with whatever is needed to make your holiday and stay as smooth as possible.
Other things to note
We live in a very quiet neighbourhood and have neighbours on both sides so we do not allow parties or large gatherings which is in the interest of harmony and peace for our neighbours. Please no loud music outside especially after 10 pm.
Smoking is not allowed inside any area of the house but smokers are welcome to smoke outside and in the gardens.
Our house is shoes off please.
Strictly no pets please unless discussed with us beforehand.
