Murwillumbah is home to the Tweed Regional Gallery featuring the wonderful Margret Olley, Tweed Regional Museum, Stone & Wood Brewing Co and nearby Condong Sugar mill, Tropical Fruit World and Madura Tea Estates. The streets are lined with art deco buildings, where the locals have adopted trendy cafes and a great selection of restaurants that serve menu items made from the freshest locally grown ingredients. You'll also find many parks, including a skate park, cinema, pool and Golf Course.

The surrounds of 'Murbah' provide a wide variety of activities, whether soaking up the sun on a desert beach, finding a challenging surf spot, cruising or fishing the Tweed River, climbing Mountains or exploring one or more of the fourteen National Parks and reserves.

Enjoy a birds eye view from a scenic flight from Murwillumbah airfield or glider flight from Tyagarah airfield, north of Byron Bay.

Only 20 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport, 15 minutes to beautiful beaches and 30 minutes to Byron Bay.

Having a car is desirable, however, the local Surfside bus runs from 7.30am - 5.30am every hour to Murwillumbah, Coolangatta/Tweed Heads.

Visitors can reach Murwillumbah by road and rail, with air services available at Gold Coast Airport, Lismore Airport and Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport.
