Alkira was a lovely, well priced property which allowed us to take our dog with us. There was a small courtyard for her to be in whilst we were out exploring Byron however as Byron is a very dog friendly town she was with us for most of the time. The property was spacious and convenient enough to Byron Bay (approx 7 min car ride). It was a well prepared, self contained duplex and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to avoid eating out all of the time. As we went in December it was a bit warm so air conditioning would be the only thing we would add as the upstairs area does get quite warm. However, the fans and windows did help most of the time. We will definitely stay there again.
