Welcome to Pavilion House in The Pocket - your holiday retreat set in beautiful Northern Rivers countryside. Relax in this stylish house amongst an acre of lush gardens, offering quiet and privacy.
The Pocket is a cattle farming area near Billinudgel, 20 minutes north of Byron Bay and 10 minutes west of great beaches and cafes at South Golden and New Brighton.
Pavilion House is named after the pavilions that extend from the main house - one providing an outside dining/BBQ area and the other a charming, secluded bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Joined by covered breezeways, the house and its pavilions are constructed to give the feeling of being amongst the tree-tops.
Pavilion house has four bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed, and three bathrooms two ensuite. It offers two comfortable interior living spaces - a kitchen/dining area and a separate sitting/TV room - as well as outside areas for relaxing, entertaining and eating. This gives plenty of alternative spaces for larger groups.
The one acre garden offers extensive lawns, two yoga platforms and a small dam. Its perimeter is fully-fenced and safe for dogs. The house is pet-friendly. However the unfenced dam renders the property unsuitable for children.
Pavilion House is 15 minutes from cafes and shops in the nearby towns of Brunswick Heads and Mullumbimby, and only 35 minutes to airports at the Gold Coast and Ballina. The nearby village of Billinudgel 2.5 kms from the house offers a general store, a PO, a restaurant, a cafe and one of Australia's oldest privately-owned pubs.
Pavilion House is a great base from which to explore the local walking tracks, spectacular beaches, dramatic waterfalls and activities such as hot-air ballooning, whale-watching and kayaking that are readily-available in the Northern Rivers.
