Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Location House is in a great location and there is plenty of space. The house is in need of standard repairs and an overall update. There was a large hole in the gyprock wall which was just covered up with plastic in the ensuite, the sliding doors to the outside kept coming off the rails and did not close properly, locks to windows do not work. The main problem with the house is the lack of air conditioning, I thought having fans would be okay however the house has no insulation, it has the high ceilings but there is no spot where it is cool. You could not enjoy a meal or have a good nights sleep because it was so hot and the rooms were stifling. You would wake up feeling exhausted. It really needs to have at least one split air con so there is at least somewhere you can be comfortable. Lastly, the pool was fantastic to have however it does need to be maintained. I ended up with an ear infection which could only be from the pool as I did not swim anywhere else. It had sand in the bottom, was not clear and we also witnessed ducks swimming and cleaning themselves every morning in the pool. Overall, good location but in need of maintenance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value for boating & fishing enthusiast Very constable but dated property. You can tie up your boat on your own private jetty or go fishing in the canal, we managed to catch a few fish out the front. You can pump for yabbies on the canal too. Bring mozzie repellant the sandflies are horrendous at dusk. The house has plenty of spots to hide away, so great for large family.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Spacious House with Great Views Great for the boating enthusiast, great views, good jetty, close to river and going outside the bar, a bait board near jetty would be handy for cleaning fish. Ample rooms for relaxing,a split air-conditioner between tv room and kitchen would be really great to make the stay more comfortable in winter and summer, along with some blankets for tv room and bedrooms for winter. The sunroom is awesome with a bbq and dining table in there, lovely to catch some rays in winter. We previously stayed here before with a family of 5 and location is fantastic, neat tidy house and yard. Would like to try the pool in summer!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Family Friendly House on the Waterfront Great house for our family. A lovely quiet, roomy and comfortable house. The pontoon was a great asset for fishing, relaxing and convenient for the fishing boat and the BBQ boat. We had a fantastic week and would recommend this property to anyone and hope we will be back soon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 17 The Peninsula This house is absolutely huge, plenty of room, plenty of spacious rooms with generally good facilities. However, this house is very, very dated; it needs a very decent clean BEFORE holiday goers enter this property, it has no heating or substantial cooling (has old ceiling fans and pedestal fans) and has no oven. It is brilliantly situated and is the perfect mid year getaway facility. The house requires updating, with some new furniture and it would be a brilliant place. We enjoyed our stay but would not stay here in summer.
