As mentioned above, this property is very close to the sands of Pippi Beach, or you can choose from any of the other beautiful beaches in Yamba -Lovers Point, Convent Beach, Main Beach, Turners and Whiting Beach, or a little further out is Angourie with Green Point, Blue Pools, Spooky's Beach & Back Beach. Or choose from fishing and water sports in the Clarence River or Lake Wooloweyah. Park the car and walk to the gift stores, boutiques, grocerystores or cafes, bars and restaurantsin Yamba's Main Street, less than 1km away, or take in a meal and entertainment at the Golf or Bowling Clubs. For those rainy or lazy days, you could catch at movie at Yamba Cinema which is also located just above the main street in Yamba. It is all so close. If you don't feel like walking, there's always the courtesy buses, which are run by both clubs, plus the Yamba Shores Tavern if you feel like a meal and a drink on the river.
Yamba's largest shopping centre, Yamba Shopping Fair is located on the way into town on Yamba Road, approximately 4.1kms away, or 9 mins drive. This facility includes a Coles, Target Country, Reject Shop, Priceline, and other specialty stores. Exploring the wonders of the Clarence Valley is a must whilst you are visiting. Maclean is a short 20 minute drive away from Yamba, and has wonderful ethnic Scottish elements for visitors to explore, including tartan painted power poles, recipes for traditional scottish feast displayed in the main street, the Scottish Shop, plus plenty of bagpipes. Iluka is accessible by car, 45-50 mins, or take the ferry from the end of River St and cruise across to Iluka, and wander up Iluka's main street towards cafes, gift stores, the Bowling Club,Sedgers Reef Hotel and the Fishermans Co-op.
Major towns of Ballina and Grafton are within an hour's drive, both with airports, larger shopping facilities.
