The Surf Club opposite has a restaurant or there is the Fingal Bay Bowls and Recreation Club for bistro meals, roll-up bowls, raffles, entertainment, TAB facilities and a childrens playground. The village shops has a general store, takeaway, post office, bottle-shop, petrol and a mechanical workshop. Take a walk to Fingal Island by crossing the spit at low tide to see the lighthouse and or have a picnic in Barry Park located on the eastern tip which is a great vantage point to watch the whales as they migrate up and down the coast. Kiddies corner is fantastic for the little ones offering a natural spring and calmer waters for the kids to play with the surf patrol set up in front of the clubhouse for safe body surfing. The main bathroom has a combined shower with a standard bath, vanity and toilet. The main bedroom offers a king sized bed and ensuite and sliding door access to the main balcony area. The second bedroom has a single bed, a set of bunk beds and a single trundle with the third bedroom offering a queen sized bed. Please note you will need to bring sheets for the trundle if wanting to use it.
You can set the pace at your own speed when you stay in Fingal Bay. The beach is a great place to spend the day, playing with friends and family. Surf breaking waves run from the surf club through to the spit, with the calmer waters of Kiddies Corner offering a safe place to splash around and cool down over the hot summer months. Surrounded by National parkland there is an abundance of bush tracks to discover with 20 kilometres of rocky coastline and beaches ideal for bushwalking, swimming, snorkelling, surfing, fishing and picnicking. There is also a cycle path which runs from the Fingal Bay boat ramp through to Shoal Bay.
