This beautiful luxurious holiday home was designed by renowned Sydney architect Gordon Fuller and occupies one of the highest points in the Bay and has sensational views out to Yaccaba and Tomaree Headlands. Whether you are looking for an weekend escape with family or friends or an extended holiday, this spacious residence will ensure you escape, unwind and leave your busy city life behind.

Horizon Nelson Bay is one of Port Stephen's most impressive holiday homes, with all rooms having spectacular views over the bay, capturing the north easterly sea breezes. The property is set over 3 levels on a 1227m2 block.

The property accommodates 6-8 adults. No more. It would also comfortably sleep 6 adults and up to 5 children. There are x3 Queen bedrooms and a 4th bedroom which has a bunk bed single on top/ double on the bottom with a double trundle underneath.

There are 6 bathrooms throughout the property so no one can ever complain they have to wait ;

The entrance boasts a spectacular double story atrium with cathedral ceilings, and floor to ceiling glass windows displaying the sensational view that this property enjoys. With two double garages there is accommodation for four vehicles.

Ascending the staircase you are captivated by the magical view that this home provides which would be the best of any residential property in the Bay. This level provides both formal and informal living areas allowing space for everybody as well as entertaining. The formal lounge has floor to ceiling windows to the north-east, quality new carpet, and a stunning marble fireplace for the cooler months. Jarrah timber floors provide a beautiful back drop for the formal dining room which can accommodate any special celebration. The contemporary kitchen has been recently updated and contains a double oven, LG dishwasher, granite bench tops and a new ceramic Bosch cooktop. In addition to the formal dining there is a breakfast bench in the kitchen as well as a meals area directly off the kitchen with access to the pool and balcony. A slow combustion heater in the meals area keeps the living space warm in the winter and there is an oversized family room overlooking the pool. With sensational views from all rooms this home allows you to feel as though you are on top of the world.

The spacious family room has a built-in wet bar at the rear of the room, ceiling fan, high ceilings, tiled floor with feature carpet insert and is large enough for a billiard table. The bathroom on this level contains a double sized shower, toilet, single vanity, down lights and floor to ceiling quality tiling. From the meals area you step out the cedar timber doors onto a very large balcony with the most amazing water views over the bay. The beautiful saltwater inground pool allows you to enjoy the beautiful view whilst cooling off in the summer. This is the perfect location for celebrating and entertaining a special occasion, or just taking a quiet moment for yourself. With such a large balcony there is space for a BBQ, outdoor lounge as well as a large outdoor dining setting. The laundry is located on the top level adjacent to the bedrooms, with access to the rear yard and clothesline.

The spacious north east facing master bedroom boasts 180 degree panoramic water views over the Bay. The luxurious ensuite has floor to ceiling quality tiles, huge spa bath, double sized shower, and double vanity with storage. Bedrooms two, three and four are all spacious with built-in robes, ceiling fans, carpet, curtains and those beautiful panoramic water views.

Some of the additional features that are included in this home are the solid wood internal doors,

security alarm system, intercom and ducted vacuum.

The Nelson Bay waterfront is only a five minute drive away which is rich in a local cafe culture, boutique shops and the marina... you have everything at your finger tips Port Stephens is only a hop, skip and a jump down the road offering great surfing beaches, whale and dolphin cruises, scuba diving and of course the Horizons golf course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best views in Port Stephens We loved waking up to the incredible vista of nelson bay with every room having equally impressive vantage points. The highlight though was the amazing panorama allowed from the patio/balcony where we enjoyed many a moment watching the boats come and go across nelson bay. We loved the convenience of a good sized pool which we could all float and relax in whilst resident kookaburra laughed at our not so great tanlines! Bliss. The house was clean and spacious - both inside and out and was reflective of the photos and description being advertised (always a relief!). Our family was able to spread out with everyone enjoying their own personal space for a bit of piece of peace and quiet when needed. We stayed over Xmas and so the large sized kitchen was well needed for the over-indulging that occurred and our Xmas lunch was crowned with the glorious views from dining room table. Having the different options of eating - at the breakfast bar, outside on the balcony in the living room or more formally in the dining room was great. Even with the hot December weather, the combination of sea breeze and ceiling fans were more than enough and no one suffered any sleepless nights as a result of the heat. We must say they were all decent beds too which obviously helps. The property was also very conveniently placed for an evening sunset stroll up Bagnall beach where we saw many black swans fishing for their supper. The marina is also very close by which is handy as it's where all the boat excursions and ferry to tea tree gardens depart from (along with a kids playground / restaurants / ice cream etc.) We appreciated the owners leaving some local leaflets and guide books to Port Stephens as we had never been before (we will be back!). They were also contactable directly. It's clear that this place means a lot to them and they are incredibly proud of it and being able to share it with others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing...... House was tidy and a great view but that was it. No pool fence, No air con, No smoke Alarms, Private CCTV and wasn't made aware before booking property. Pool cleaner arrived un announced, then went about his business with out any word despite children playing. Not enough general house hold supplies. 6 plates. knives forks etc for a property that accommodates more. Given the rental price cable TV should be a standard. Dirty buckets full of muck and rubbish left outside on back veranah. BBQ area was dirty, No gas for the BBQ, once we sorted out gas we realized it didn't work anyway and thankfully it didn't as we found used safety pins on the hot grill, grease and grime all over the plate. Only 1 light outside was working and the stereo system was also not working. Spa is attached to the Pool but doesn't actually work. Wet condition made the driveway near impossible to get to the house without a 4x4. Cleaner arrived before check out to make it a little uncomfortable. NO POOL FENCE NO SMOKE ALARMS......we wont return and definitely not suitable for a family
