Muddy Fish Cottage is a charming 2 bedroom seaside cottage metres to the waters edge of Lemon Tree Passage and walking distance to the local Marina popular with boat lovers of all size boats cafes, shops, tidal swimming pool and boardwalk.
Their is a large enclosed yard for the kids to play in, park the boat or just relax and take time out. Their are various fruit trees on the property for you to pick fresh produce from when in season such as Mango's, mandarins, Lemons, Limes, Oranges, Figs, Strawberry Guava and herbs such as Bay leaf.
The Cottage is fresh, modern and fully equipped with all you'll need for your next getaway.
The bedrooms consist of a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed Double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. All Linen and towels are supplied.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, a great selection of herbs, spices and teas and includes a walk in Pantry and breakfast bar.
You have the option of dining inside or out on the covered verandah.
Their is a separate toilet, laundry and bathroom with a luxurious double head shower. The bathroom has both a shower and separate bath. All bath and beach towels are supplied.
The lounge is cosy, comfortable and relaxing equipped with a selection of books, CDs, DVD's ,board games and magazines with a day bed lounge perfect for watching a great movie or reading a book.
The front screened verandah has a day bed as well to relax on lazy days together with comfy wicker chairs and a dining table to enjoy meals.
The cottage is situated close to all Lemon Tree Passage has to offer along with the many other tourist attractions in the Port Stephens, The Hunter Valley and Newcastle areas.

LEMON TREE PASSAGE
Lemon Tree Passage is a small, picturesque bay side town on the Tilligerry Peninsula and is a hidden nature lovers paradise. Surrounded by water it is almost an island and is one of the prime secluded spots on the Southern shore of the waterways of Port Stephens which is now firmly established among the finest aquatic playgrounds on Australia's East Coast and fast becoming an Eco Tourism destination.
It is a leafy, tranquil and idyllic seaside location which looks out across a narrow passage to Bulls Island.
The township has a fishing village atmosphere offering a variety of local shops and cafes including butcher, chemist, doctor, bottle shop, Newsagency, Post Office, Gift shop, Fish and Chip Shops and other cafes. A Children's playground next to a netted tidal swimming pool, picnic and BBQ areas.
Their are coastal walking and bike trails beaming with bird life and other native animals including Koala's ,you can go on a guided koala walk showing koala's in their natural habitat at the Tilligerry Eco Habitat which also offers scenic boardwalks along the waters edge and is home to a Koala colony. You can take your swimmers and go for a swim there too
There are numerous picnic areas along the waters edge.
Catch a Ferry across to Soldiers Point, Nelson Bay, Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest from the Marina.

Fishing is virtually at your doorstep.
The Albatross Marina located at the CBD of Lemon Tree Passage is only a 5 minute drive or 15 minute leisurely walk from Muddy Fish Cottage and is a 52 berth floating Marina with 8 swing moorings naturally protected from every wind direction and capable of accommodating boats with up to a 3 metre draft. It has all the facilities expected for a modern marina including a deep/wide slipway facility.
The boat ramp is boasted as one of the best on the Port with 3 lanes and floating wharf and a huge parking area and pump out for holding tanks at no charge.
Their is a large bowling club, local R.S.L, Coles Supermarket, 18 hole Golf Course and Historic Tanilba Bay House built for Naval Officer Lieutenant Caswell in 1828 to visit and explore.
Lemon Tree Passage is just half an hour drive from William Town Airport, Birubi Patrolled Surf Beach and Stockton Sand Dunes as featured in Daniel Johns new music video clip for his song Aerial Love both pictured in our Photo's.
Nelson Bay, Raymond Terrace, Newcastle and The National Trust of Australia's historic Tomago House are only a comfortable 45 minute drive away. The beautiful town of Morpeth full of Boutiques, cafes and restaurants is a 55 minute scenic drive and Pokolbin Wine Country in the Hunter valley is just a 1hr 45 minute drive from the cottage.
Their are many tourist attractions on offer in Port Stephens including Whale and Dolphin watching tours, Fishing Tours, Dinner cruises, Paint ball skirmish, The amazing Stockton Sand Dunes a must to be seen which offer 4WD and camel tours , you can go horse riding, go carting , visit the Shark and Ray centre, Water Works which has great water slides in the summer months as well and Oakvale Farm and Fauna world at the end of Lemon Tree Passage Road etc.
There are a number of golf courses on offer in the area as well.
