Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dirty Not too happy with the place, yes it's central to beach and shops but too many faults with it specially the cleanliness. Didn't mind that it's an old apartment What I disliked was that there are no photos on the website showing how steep the stairs are to access the apartment it's deceiving not to mention it because a person with a walking disability will find it difficult to climb and families with children will struggle. The apartment is a good size for big families BUT the carpet needs to be replaced A.s.a.p. It's dirty,dusty and mouldy,specially the one in the bedroom next to the laundry. The blinds in the bedrooms need to be washed as they're also mouldy & dusty. The floor in the kitchen could do with an update too.my biggest concern was a wardrobe in the bedroom next to the laundry because it's leaning forward it's not stable and it could fall on a child so I think it needs to go specially because it's right next to the balcony door. Maybe move the furniture and clean behind it ( that's one place I always check to see if the place is clean properly) There were no cleaning products available (especially since there are plenty of signs asking for us to Leave the place clean). The pool area needs an update too and to be cleaned I called the property manager and mentioned that the pool was dirty and she asked me to clean the leaves that had fallen in from the wind last night but the pool had a lot of leaves sitting at the bottom they were dark those were not recent ones it was definitely weeks worth of rubbish. I also think the crockery could be changed I don't think it has since the 1980s. Overall the cleanliness is what let the place down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT LOCATION Very relaxing, great location. The 2 second walk to the bay was excellent. 7 adults stayed & never felt cramped. Use most of the balconies as the sun or wind changed we just moved to suit. Swim in the pool which was very clean, used the bbq but could have been a bit cleaner. Good size plate cooked enough food for 7 adults. Clean when we finished with it. The hard floors really needed scrubbing. Got to love a dishwasher. Overall I would book again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great location We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this unit with two families being very comfortably accommodated in the 4 bedroom unit with 2 living spaces. We found the beds and furniture comfortable and the unit clean. The location was fantastic as it was almost across the road from shoal bay beach and was a 5 minute walk to shoal bay IGA supermarket and chemist. The kids loved the pool as it was warm, and the pool was clean and in a sheltered position from the sea breeze. We would definitely stay here again.
