Located just minutes from the Skitube to Perisher Valley and a 15 minutes drive up the Alpine Way to Thredbo, this apartment is set in an enchanting bushland setting with extensive snow capped views along the mountains and valleys. It has close proximity to cycling and walking tracks and the Thredbo and Little Thredbo Rivers for high quality trout fishing. The Resort cafe and restaurants are within strolling distance. There is always something to do, winter or summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful property in serene location! Loved it! My partner and I stayed at The Sentinal for a mid week break in April. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious and comfortable chalet. The fire place was definitely a highlight, it warmed the place up very quickly and enough wood/firelighters were provided for our entire stay. The full kitchen was great as there are not many food options close by, and we had everything we needed provided to cook up a hearty meal at the end of the day! The bed was warm and comfortable, and each of the bedrooms were huge. Also... three bathrooms! Need I say more?! A few things to note about our stay, none of which affect the quality of the property: - The unit is separate from the Lake Crackenback Resort (managed privately)... because of this, we experienced some very rude resort staff when trying to access the advertised "free" activities and were told we needed to pay to participate. - bring some slippers to wear, the tiles get cool on your feet - I highly recommend checking out some of the bush walks close by, very beautiful. I hope you all have a stay as good as ours was. I can't wait to come back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Property Fantastic location, beautiful layout, quality features throughout the house. Very comfortable for a short or long term stay. An outdoor sitting area would add to the overall experience in the warmer months. That said, we will be back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful base for the family to explore the highlands in Summer. Plenty of activities to do on site at the Resort, including walking, kyaking, archery, golf, swimming etc.There was heaps of space in the apartment for our young family of 5, very private, with lovely bush views out the back to watch the wallabies. The only down side to the whole place is the walk in showers need proper underdoor drainage, with the whole bathroom flooding no matter what we tried. But the spa in the ensuite is the best I've tried - great for tired feet and back after a day's walking. We would love to stay again!
