Relax and unwind as you admire our extensive use of recycled and local building materials.
For example, the windows in the Studio all came from one of the areas original Monaro properties, and the framing is hard wood from nearby Cann River. The tiles which have been used extensively throughout The Studio were bought up from an Auction house in Melbourne. Dado panelling has been salvaged, recycled and limed washed for a beautiful finish on the walls.
A mix of old and new furniture and rugs, a custom made headboard and a cube shelving feature in the bedroom make the Studio very functional and homey, with every inch used intelligently to maximise space.
The kitchen has been constructed almost entirely from recycled materials and gives a old fashioned appearance, but still providing total functionality with a 900mm oven, pressed tin splashback and double fridge/freezer providing ice and water on tap.
Stack stone features in the lounge room ties into the beautiful granite boulders which feature through out the property and the Dalgety area.
