High in the snowy mountains in Kosciuszko National Park, spacious Creel Lodge offers all the comforts of home with the luxury of a mountain chalet. Overlooking Lake Jindabyne, it’s the perfect setting for an indulgent holiday with friends or a special family get-together.
Meet the neighbouring kangaroos as you tuck into a hearty breakfast on the deck. Gaze across beautiful views of the mountains and lake, then wander down for a spot of fishing or take one of the nearby walks.
With all that fresh mountain air, you’ll be ready to cook up a feast in the big kitchen and share a memorable meal around the large dining table. After dinner, head outside and stoke up the outdoor fireplace and start planning your next day’s adventure in Kosciuszko.
Bedding configuration: 4 bedrooms each with an en-suite; 1 x queen + single bed and 3 x single/split king beds.
All bed linen and towels are provided. Guests are required to strip the beds of used linen prior to departure.
Kitchen facilities with 2 fridges and a large commercial size oven/stove, dishwasher, and microwave.
Washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board and gas central heating.
Fully furnished living room with flatscreen television, DVD player and Ipod dock/CD player. There is another television and DVD player in the main bedroom.
Separate dining area with 12-seat table and outdoor eating area.
Wheelchairs can access the top floor of the lodge via a ramp where all facilities are located. Grip rails are installed in the main bathroom and toilet but the shower is not suitable for wheelchair accessibility.
Outside log fireplace and wood burning barbecue surrounded by comfy timber furniture.
There is mobile phone service, however no Wi-Fi is available. There is a landline phone for local calls only.
Check in after 3pm. Check out before 10am.
A pin code to access the lodge will be provided on confirmation of bookings.

Pets and domestic animals other than certified assistance animals are not permitted.
As this is a remote property please bring all your supplies with you, such as food.

Peak season: 1 July to 31 August.
Shoulder season: Friday June long weekend to 30 June; 1st September to Thursday October long weekend; Christmas/New Year period; Easter period.
Off-peak season: Friday October long weekend to Thursday June long weekend excluding Shoulder periods
2 night minimum stay throughout the year 4 nights during Easter, 7 nights during Christmas/New Year.
All reservations incur a booking fee of 2.5 in addition to the total amount payable.
Park entry fees
Park entry fees for this park are not included in your accommodation fees. Daily fees and annual passes can be bought at Snowy Region Visitor Centre in Jindabyne or at entry stations.
Creel Lodge is located within Kosciuszko National Park at Waste Point, 13km to Jindabyne and 21km to Perisher Valley. To get there:
Drive up Kosciuszko Road, past the park entrance, and take the first right turn.
Drive along and turn left at the ‘to lodge’ sign, and it’s a 200m drive along an unsealed road.
All 2WD vehicles must carry chains on the Kosciuszko Road from Kosciuszko National Park entry between June long weekend and October long weekend.
Undercover parking is available for two vehicles with additional, open parking space nearby.
