Lakeview Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom self contained house with a spacious open plan, living, dining and kitchen area. It is set in a tranquil setting with wonderful views with the Rendezvous Creek bubbling in the background. Wildlife is in abundance with kangaroos, wombats,deer and the odd brumby all on display from the large sunny windows.
The Diggings is in a lovely remote setting, therefore phone reception is quite bad, there is limited WiFi on the property, but there is an on site caretaker, if any problems occur.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all cutlery, crockery and cooking needs. White goods include a full sized fridge/freezer, stove/oven and dishwasher.
The lounge has ample seating, with entertaining options of a TV, DVD, iPod connect stereo, board games,and books to read. There is also a 'kids only' play area in the loft. All bedrooms have electric blankets, doona's and blankets. All linen, sheets, towels etc have also been provided for your convenience.
The main bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite with a vanity, toilet and shower cubicle. The second and third bedrooms have a double bed and single bunks. There is also 3 single fold out beds available.
The family bathroom features a vanity, bathtub, large shower and toilet. There is also a separate laundry, a gas BBQ and outdoor setting.
Come getaway from everything and have a break, do nothing, or just curl up and read a book in the sun. Explore the 350 acre property with trout fishing, mountain bike riding, bush walking, bird watching, or have a hit of tennis. All to be experienced just ot the door. The property is only a short distance from Lake Jindabyne for boating, sailing, canoeing, swimming, fishing or water skiing. The Kosciusko National Park for snow sports, bush walking and mountain bike riding. There is also horse riding at Snowy Wilderness or Thredbo Valley Horse riding and motorbike riding at the Moto Bike Park close by. The Snowy River is also a short drive away.
