Winterwood boasts spectacular views of Lake Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains from the large front verandah. It is just metres from conveniences and ski hire, walking distance to the lake, and an easy 35 minute drive to the ski fields of Thredbo and Perisher.
With spacious rooms and a cosy open fireplace, Winterwood provides modern, clean and comfortable accommodation for up to 16 people. It contains two fully equipped kitchens, two lounge areas (one upstairs/one downstairs), dining room, six bedrooms, laundry/drying room, and gas, wood and electric heating to ensure you'll never go cold. The house is ideal for a group of friends or several families wanting to stay together.

Most of the king single beds are able to be pushed together and made up as king size beds if preferred.
There is ample off-street parking for up to 5 cars, gas and electric heating for the cooler months, and a gas BBQ and outdoor setting on the front verandah so guests can make the most of the views. The large laundry/drying room downstairs has a washer and dryer and plenty of room to lock up skis, boards and boots overnight.
All linen and towels are supplied during the ski season (June - October). Sheets and towels can be provided for a fee at other times of the year if guests don't want to bring their own.
Winterwood is a fully self-contained property. It is cleaned prior to your arrival and on your departure, but it is not serviced during your stay. This means that guests are provided enough detergent, toilet paper and firewood to get started (to last approx. 24 hours) and anything needed in excess of what is initially provided is the responsibility of the guest. Guests are provided with a number to call if they have any questions during their stay at Winterwood.

Located approximately 2 hours drive from Canberra on the edge of Kosciusko National Park, Jindabyne and its surrounds provides visitors with an abundance of activities and attractions. The popular ski resorts of Thredbo and Perisher are an easy 35 minute drive from Jindabyne, providing unrivalled skiing in winter and many outdoor activities and festivals during the warmer months. Adventurers can explore the unspoilt rivers and lakes, walking trails, spectacular caves and historic huts within the National Park. Winterwood is located in East Jindabyne, an easy 5-10 minute drive from the main township of Jindabyne. It is also just metres to Jindy Snow ski hire shop, a café with great food and coffee, a liquor store, and a service station that sells bread, milk, firewood and basic necessities.
