With 6.5 km of white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters and fringed by two National Parks you are sure to find a favourite activity.
There are dolphin & whale watching cruises. Scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, sailing, kayaking, horse riding, or why not just relax on one of the many beaches. At sunset and sunrise the beaches are magic. At night there are so many stars in the sky, it's simply awesome. There are good bush walks, coastal walks and cycle ways in the area. The two National Parks are rich in Aboriginal heritage, diverse flora and fauna. For golf addicts, the nine hole Vincentia golf course is a 5 minute drive away at the top of the hill and within an hours drive you can play any number of superb golf course with sea or river views Gerrora, Nowra or accompanied by kangaroos Sanctuary Point. For Wine lovers, the Shoalhaven Coast is one of the newest wine regions in Australia declared 2002 and yet has already garnered over 1,000 medals. There are over 15 vineyards through the region all producing a wide variety of quality wines. If it's raining check out Vincentia indoor leisure centre with gyms and pools or see a movie at Huskisson Pictures or visit a spa.
Everything you need is available all close by in the friendly seaside villages, Huskisson and Vincentia; cafes and restaurants, supermarket, gourmet butcher, deli, fish shop and a few charming boutiques. Treat yourself to dinner at famous local restaurants; The Waterhouse, , Stonegrill, Wildginger or Gunyah at Paperbark Camp. The Huskisson RSL is also great value for a meal and drinks with a courtesy pick up and drop off bus.
