Denham’s Beach is one of three beaches that you can swim and enjoy long walks on, as you experience the feeling of sand between your toes. There are no roads to cross, so perfect for all ages.
Enjoy the magnificent views of the beach out to Tollgate Island, through the spotted gum trees with a relaxing drink from your own balcony or living areas.
Build sandcastles, swim, surf, and snorkel or walk the beach- the choice is yours.
Denham’s Beach is 7km south of Batemans Bay, travelling along Beach Road through Batehaven, and shortly after Sunshine Bay and before you come to Surf Beach you will see Graydon Avenue, which leads down to Denham’s Beach.
For those traveling from Canberra it is a two hour drive, a pleasant 4 hours from Sydney and 1 and half hours from Goulburn.
Denham’s Beach is sheltered by rocky headlands, with good sized surf on most days and is popular with board riders and has great snorkeling around the rocks at the far end.
From here you can enjoy a short stroll around to Surf Beach during low tide, which is surf patrolled during the summer holidays and has lovely waves for boogie boarders.
Wimbie Beach which is adjacent, has smaller waves and from here leads you to scenic bush walks.
Denham’s Beach is known for its daily visit by a family of dolphins.
In Spring from September until late November, the humpback migration enchants our shores and can be seen from Denham’s Beach. Whale watching cruises can be taken from Narooma.
For the best coffee in the area try Crust at Batehaven.
Surf Beach, which is an easy walk around from Denham’s Beach has a small shopping Centre. There is a Chinese Restaurant- eat in or take away, Piccolo’s for pizza, Fish and Chip- eat in or take away, A Chemist, Medical Centre, an AGA Supermarket, Hair Dresser and Bottle Shop.
There is also a Beach Store that has newspapers and takeaway food.

This inviting three bedroom accommodation retreat sleeps up to 6 guests, with a Queen and 4 single beds and is tastefully furnished with comfortable mattresses.
The main bedroom has a walk in robe and en-suite with corner bath. There is a 2nd television in this room.
The main bathroom has a bath, as well as a shower.
For those with little ones, there is a port-a-cot, high chair and a bed side slip in, to prevent falling out of bed. Need to bring your own linen for the cot
All linen and bath towels are supplied, with the exception of beach towels.
SPACIOUS LIVING AREAS
The living areas are spacious, furnished with a beach theme and have floor to ceiling glass that gives you breathtaking views to the beach. This opens onto a large balcony, which has an outdoor setting for alfresco dining, BBQ, deck chairs and sun lounges for you to enjoy.
The living area has a television, sound system and DVD player. Plug your ipod and listen to your favorite music.

Markets – a number of markets are held around the Eurobodalla region, with Batehaven on the 1st Sunday of the month and Moruya on every Saturday.
Wining and dining - the seafood is superb, includes oysters, lobsters, prawns, crabs, and a variety of quality fish. There are a number of specialty waterfront restaurants that have stunning views of the water.
