Simple, cosy, clean and very cute, this blue and white stilted 3 bedroom home is fully set up to sleep and cater for 6, with a Queen bed in the 'master' bedroom and double and single sets of bunks in the other rooms. Very comfortable for 2 adults and up to 4 kids or 4 adults and up to three kids.
Freshly painted, this classic Aussie beach house boasts both a new kitchen and bathroom and recently sanded and oiled floorboards throughout.
Sea breeze flows under and around the house and it's double glazed windows and doors will keep you cool and comfortable all summer long. Our three sided verandah means you can chase full sun or shade at anytime of day. With a large hooded BBQ, three large outdoor tables and a variety of seating, you can enjoy Bawley Point alfresco style whenever you wish If you do desire to dine inside, our extendable Parker dining table and chairs will have you retro stylin' it with any meal or relax with family and friends on our comfy 6 seater couch, around the TV, a DVD or catch up on your Netflix with our Apple TV.
There is loads of space under the house to store your boat and any vehicles, with a massive driveway for the kids to play basketball or set up a skate ramp. We also have a full laundry with washing machine, dryer and a second toilet and after the short walk home from one of the many beaches, hop under the solar hot water outdoor shower for a wash off before a game of cricket in our massive backyard. Well behaved pets are welcome but will have to live on the enclosed verandah or inside, as our yard is unfenced, but with Cormorant dog friendly beach only 180m away, Fido will be in heaven too
What is so awesome about a holiday here in Kywong Ave, Bawley Point is that if it is a little windy on one beach, the other will be calm and tranquil and they are both only 200m walk from the front door. Such difficult decisions
Bawley Point is infamous as one of Australia's best surf spots and you'll be spoilt for choice with Guillotines, Nuggan, Churchills, The Point and No Toes all within walking distance from your front door. Alternatively, hop in the car and hit one of the numerous surfing meccas up and down this breathtakingly beautiful slice of Australia's East Coast.
If you are in search of calmer waters, Bawley Point Beach is very protected and its often flat, smooth turquoise wonder will keep the kids enthralled for hours, exploring the rock pools and paddling in the shallows. Also, Willinga Lake's tea tree tranquility is just a short bush track wander North from Bawley Beach and is a totally protected and gorgeous way to whittle away a summer's day, with a picnic on the banks and the kids safely splashing up a storm.
If you fancy a spot of fishing, you won't know where to start as the Point is nothing short of fishing heaven, with the Bawley boat ramp and gantry offering an idyllic setting for hooking in Snapper, Trevally, Salmon and many more varieties. Or why not throw on the dive gear or snorkel for a feast of shellfish and squid or simply to glide along with the abundant sea life and soak up the natural wonder of Bawley Point.
Wildlife abounds here in Bawley and you'll have kangaroos bounding through the backyard, swathes of Pelicans marching the beach, dolphins a plenty, manta rays gliding the gantry and seals waving hello, as they dive for breakfast off the point.
If you want to explore more of what the local area has to offer, there are many world renowned bush walks such as the Didthul Pigeon House Mountain trek and a plethora of coastal hikes such as Pretty Beach to Durras, and all just down the road. For a more indulgent adventure, Bawley Point has its very own Bawley Vale Winery and Cellar Door with live music and picnic facilities during the summer season. There are also local producers of honey and a berry farm where you can visit and pick your own produce.
Bawley Point Cafe is only a few minutes walk away and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Bawley also boasts a handy strip of local shops, accessible by well maintained bike path, with an IGA, camping/fishing store, bakery, pharmacy, real estate, newsagent, take away food outlet and bottle shop. There is horse riding, tennis courts, Bawley Beach playground and Ulladulla or Bateman's Bay are both only 25 minutes drive away.
