'8 on the Lake' is located on the foreshore of Wallaga Lake and is a 2 minute drive to Camel Rock Beach, and a short 7km drive into the town of Bermagui. A gravel boat ramp is located 200m from the house.
Bermagui is a small seaside town famous for its deep sea fishing. Located off the highway it is surrounded by State Forests, National Parks, Lakes and State Reserves with many unspoiled beaches as well as a patrolled beach during the summer months for you to enjoy.
The town boasts some great restaurants and cafes as well as a Wine Bar and an Oyster Bar both which enjoy fabulous harbour and coastline views.
The house is best suited to a maximum of 4 adults.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed.
The house has been recently renovated with all brand new furnishings. There is a well equipped kitchen in an open plan living area with hard wood floors opening on to a covered verandah with views of Wallaga Lake and Gulaga Mountain.
There is also a relaxing BBQ area for you to enjoy.
A breakfast hamper is available on request for a cost, featuring locally made sourdough bread, muesli and yoghurt as well as the staples of bacon, eggs and juice.
Watch the local kangaroos graze on the foreshore reserve and neighbouring properties. Wake up to the sounds of the abundant birdlife.
There is plenty to do in Bermagui and surrounding areas.
Both the Country Club and the Bermagui Beach Hotel have courtesy buses for your convenience.
Visit the Blue Pool, a man made seawater pool beneath a spectacular rocky headland.
Enjoy a game of tennis or a round of golf at the Country Club.
Mountain bike around the purpose built mountain bike track located approximately 4.5kms away.
Visit the nearby Montreal Goldfields.
The Historic Village of Central Tilba is a short drive away as is the Country Village of Cobargo.
And of course there are the many beaches for swimming, surfing and fishing, with the beach a 2 min drive away.
And lets not forget the beautiful and pristine Wallaga Lake is at your doorstep with a multitude of water activities to be enjoyed.
