Perched on the banks of Broughton Mill Creek and looking out onto Berry's green hills, is a romantic hideaway for two.
The Berry weekender or midweek stay is situated where Alexander Berry established the first Berry village in the early 1800's. Your private modern accommodation faces north to the sun and overlooks the creek.
It is set in the green garden of one of Berry's most historic cottages - built as the residence of the first Berry Policeman, Constable Board from 1871 to 1874, and is only 5 minutes walk along Queen Street to the cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops in the Berry township, and less than 10 minutes walk from the Berry Railway Station.
From your private verandah you might see the platypus, water dragons, wild duck, fish, skinks, possums and many varieties of bird that the creek and the tropical plants and features of the garden attract.
