The Artist's Gallery is a quirky addition to an old weatherboard cottage dating back to early 1900's. Previously it was a well known artist's gallery and studio. The gallery is now a spacious living area and the studio has been transformed into a bedroom, with ensuite, which opens on to a deck area overlooking a charming small leafy garden. You have your own entrance and the accommodation is private. It is suitable for couples. The owner lives in the main house should you need her.
The cottage is very close to the shops and cafe/restaurants in Berry Village. Just a stroll around the corner. There is no kitchen but tea and coffee making facilities are provided. As the cottage is so centrally located, it is lovely to stroll out of the door in the morning and breakfast at one of the many options available, such as the well known Berry Sourdough Bakery. Dinner will present a difficult decision on where to go - the award winning restaurants of South on Albany and Hungry Duck in Berry, Silos Winery in Jaspers Brush, Blue Swimmer in Gerroa. Leaf, an Asian restaurant, is just two doors away, these are just a few of the options.
The Cottage is ideally suited to couples attending a wedding function as one night bookings are welcome. The one night tariff is $300. It is opposite Apex Park and within walking distance of all that Berry has to offer - shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. It is the perfect location for any event occurring in the area, whether it's the markets held on the first Sunday of each month in the show ground, South Coast wine festival or as accommodation for wedding guests.
It is also just a short walk from Berry train station so you are able to arrive in Berry by train if you prefer.
Berry is a pretty village, known as the town of trees, on the NSW South Coast. The surrounding area has much to offer from beaches, bush walks, horse riding, golf, wineries.
