Oliver's Cottage is a beautifully restored historic weatherboard home with lots of charm that features a lovely wood fireplace. Centrally located in Berry you are only a hop and a skip to the famous Sourdough Bakery and Cafe for coffee, breakfast or lunch, the Picnic Shed for amazing gifts, or a leisurely stroll to il Locale gelato cafe on the main Queen's Street of Berry for a gelato produced nearby at The Pines Dairy. It's also nestled under the mountain escarpment and only a 10 minute scenic drive to the amzing Seven Mile Beach, with Gerroa, Gerringong and Kaima up the road or Jervis Bay and Milton in the other direction.
Our cute weatherboard cottage provides all your creature comforts. From the ambience of a wood fireplace in the lounge room, high ceilings, timber floors to the comfortably heated and air-conditioned bedrooms with brass beds. a place to hang your clothes and white high thread count linen.
The spacious bathroom has a cast cast-iron claw footed bath, shower, toilet and towels are provided along with toiletries.
The country eat in kitchen comes with an electric oven and cooktop, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. The kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, serving dishes, coffee plunger, plus all utensils, including olive oil, condiments, tea, coffee and milk.
And from the backdoor there is a gas barbeque on the sun drenched verandah overlooking the beautiful large garden with camellias, an orange tree, bay leaf tree and fresh herbs and lovely lawn.
There is also a fully equipped laundry with washing machine, detergent, ironing facilities and a second toilet.
You have the whole house and garden to yourself to explore and enjoy. There is also parking on site for cars.
Berry is a picturesque, historic village just two hours’ drive south of Sydney and it's the perfect escape from city living, with lots to explore. You can also visit Kangaroo valley if you want to venture on your way to Bowral, Moss Vale, Berrima and Bundanoon. Wineries are a short drive all around the Berry area, and offer wine tastings and restaurants.
With its historic buildings and leafy surrounds, Berry is a delightful village to visit all year round and a favourite for for an escape to the countryside.

You will find more handmade goods at the Berry Country Fair, held on the first Sunday of every month at the Berry Showground. Purchase anything from exquisite local honey to bargain-priced antiques.
