Welcome to Chevys' Rest, a 5 minute drive 20 minute walk to the centre of Berry.

Chevys' Rest is a comfortable and private space with two large bedrooms with supremely comfortable beds, King and Queen, and quality linen provided, a generously spacious open plan living area with a fully opening bi-fold door to the large deck. The fully equipped kitchen has a stable door access directly to the front verandah and lawn, with security screen doors cleverly concealed.

Rustic recycled features have been deliberately incorporated into the building while also including modern conveniences and comfort. The building is constructed of galvanised steel walls and ceiling and hardwood clad exterior walls. Designed to age gracefully to reflect simplicity, comfort and be a uniquely personal place.

And while rustic simplicity is all well and good, the necessities of modern comfort are not forgotten. The walls, floor and ceiling are fully insulated, bedrooms have ceilings fans for summer, the building is orientated for cross flow ventilation and there is a lovely slow combustion fireplace for chilly evenings in winter with wood supplied and sunny verandahs to soak up the sun and relax upon while enjoying to views towards the escarpment or your private sunny grassed front lawn.

Our newly completed award winning Excellence in Regional Building MBA 2017 accommodation has been designed to reflect the character of our Australian country lifestyle and the rural atmosphere around our village of Berry.

Guest Access.

Once you have entered the property park in the designated parking area behind the old Chev truck. From there its a short walk across the lawn to Chevys' Rest.

The whole house is yours.

Guest Interaction.

We live on the property 3 acres and can be reached day or night if required.

We will not intrude during your stay unless you require. We aim to leave you to enjoy the space and privacy during your stay. Please be aware that the B&B below will have guests occasionally entering and existing the property via the shared driveway.

House rules.

The accommodation is available for your enjoyment and relaxation.

It is not available as a party house.

No additional guests other than those disclosed on booking are permitted.

No pets.

We have neighbours and other guests staying on the property so please keep the noise to a minimum and respect the neighbourhood.

Enter and leave the property quietly.

We ask that you leave the place as you found it. Dishes washed please.

Additional cleaning charges will apply if the cleaner needs to spend extra time cleaning up after guests.

Check in from 1pm. Checkout 10:30am
