Beautifully intimate for a couple, yet spacious enough for four, Hattie's Beach House is surrounded by mature native trees and plenty of bird life. You'll know you're on holiday as soon as you arrive. It's less than a 5-min stroll to the fine white sands and pristine surf of Sth Broulee beach patrolled Oct thru Apr, when the water is still beautiful. Polished limed floor boards throughout and some retro furniture with groovy French striped canvas upholstery lend extra style to this very relaxed beach house. Perfect for one or two couples, or even a family if two of the kids are happy to share a double bed.
Light and bright with north-facing back garden. Whales @ Broulee in season
Fall asleep to the gentle sound of the ocean and wake to birdsong in the garden outside your bedroom window. Treat yourself to a sleep-in, then breakfast in the delicious morning sun which streams in. Kick back on the deck and take in the relaxed vibe of the garden. Breathe in the revitalising seaside air and soak up the unhurried village atmosphere. The human battery really gets recharged at Hattie's.
You might even spot a whale or two - they sometimes spend time showing off at Broulee during their migratory season from late August to November.
There's wonderful cross-ventilation to keep you cool in summer and fan-boosted heating for snug winters. Nearby is Candlagan Creek, Broulee's tidal lagoon protected from the sea, with perfect swimming for young children. A second toilet & shower downstairs in the laundry is really handy, especially after the beach. A second TV in the main bedroom should help resolve any programme conflicts. And screens on all windows and doors ensure all uninvited guests remain outside
Hattie's has two bedrooms, both with leafy outlooks: generous main bedroom with a queen-sized bed, 2nd bedroom with a double bed. The kitchen has views through the trees and is fully equipped dishwasher and coffee machine of course. The funky 70's dining table seats six. Or you may prefer to eat at the more casual outdoor setting downstairs, overlooking the back garden near the gas barbeque. The local Mossy Cafe is great for breakfast or lunch they do much more than just muffins. A real dining surprise in Moruya, just a 10-min drive away, is The River, which we're told is one of the couple of restaurants between Wollongong and Victoria to have been awarded a Hat in the SMH Good Food Guide. You'll find some DVDs and light holiday reading at the house and a folder of local information we've put together to help you enjoy your stay.

For an additional $20/person we can save you a considerable schlepp by providing 100 cotton bed linen and bath towels, as well as the convenience of making up the beds for your arrival. Please let us know at the time of enquiry so we can include this in your quote. Then all you need to bring is your beach towels. And your fishing rods - nearby beach and river fishing are both promising
