Architect designed beach house, about 2 hours south of Sydney, located in the exclusive Benton Sands Estate.

Set amidst peaceful scribbly gums and only 150 meters from the white sands of Callala Beach on the Northern side of Jervis Bay. You can enjoy safe swimming for the family, great fishing, and many other activities including windsurfing, bike riding and golf. Included is access to the private, indoor, Community pool.

The property boasts tranquil colours, modern interiors, gourmet kitchen, large gas BBQ, washing facilities a 42inch Plasma TV and a CD player alongside keyed access to the community's private pool covered and BBQ.

The property comprises of an ensuite with shower, main bathroom with bath / shower, separate reading retreat, outdoor shower for after the beach, a large open plan lounge, living, dining and kitchen and a large laundry with washing machine and dryer, perfect for a beach house. The large private deck facing the bush reserve is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing in the afternoon sun.

Benton Sands Estate is an ecologically designed community with beautiful surrounds of scribbly gums and ghost gums. Once within the estate it is 150 meters to the magnificent white sands of Callala Beach. Easy access via duck boards through pristine natural bushland.

Enjoy the prolific native bird life including rosellas, kookaburras and king parrots. The estate has very little traffic, the streets are suitable for strolling and bike riding.

The local area boasts a 9 hole golf course, bowling green, skate ramp, Callala Bay boat ramp and sailing club. While the restaurants, dolphin cruises and tourist attractions of Vincentia and Huskisson are less than half an hour away by car.

Callala Beach has a Pizza Restaurant, cafe, petrol station only 15 mins walk down the beach.

Callala Bay shops are only 2 mins by car, with Newsagent, Butcher, Baker, Video store, Chicken Shop, Fresh Fish Shop, Bottle shop, Hardware store and cafe.

Linen:

Linen Service full property all beds, $180 per stay. All beds will be freshly made for your arrival. The service includes sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bath mats and hand towels. If you only require the linen service for a certain number of beds and not the entire property, please contact our bookings team for a quote. Please advise at time of booking if you would like to book the linen service or if you will be bringing you own linen. If you don’t book the linen service then you will need to bring your own sheets and towels. There are pillows, blankets and quilts with covers on the beds.

Cleaning:

There is a cleaning fee of $110 at this property.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but needs more attention to maintenance A nice property in a great location and competitively priced. But the managers should probably pay more attention to upkeep and maintenance. Around a 3rd of all the light fittings had burnt out globes, so we had to move good globes into key areas (e.g. the dining area) so that we had enough light at night. In the 2nd bathroom, the only light that worked was the heater function, and in 31° heat, the last thing you want is an extra heated bathroom... The outdoor furniture was a bit dirty and had to be wiped down before we could use it. The grass in the backyard could have done with a mow. The shower tap in the main bedroom fell off when turned on and the toilet roll holder was loose. There was only one garbage bag provided for a 4 day booking, so we had to go and buy our own. Yes, these are very minor things, and none of them are dealbreakers - we still had a great time, but a little more attention to detail would have been nice. We have stayed in other properties at Callala Beach and didn't have any maintenance issues whatsoever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely place to stay Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sea Whispers over Christmas. It's a great property in the nicer part of Callala Beach, Benton Estate. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, and we also used the estate's pool quite a bit when we wanted an alternative to the beach. Inside the house is very comfortable, with a variety of lounges and chairs to relax in, but outside needs some attention. There is no outdoor furniture out the front, and you wouldn't sit in the tiny space out the back, as that furniture is not at all comfortable, and the grass was very overgrown - not an attractive area at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and great location We rented this property for a weekend arriving Friday afternoon. It is located in a private spot amongst the ghost gums in a modern town house estate. Really nice and stylish setting. The interior is basic but comfortable and modern. Flatcreen TV had own media player and served as good entertainment when the weather was less ideal and aircon kept us snug. We found it spacious enough for two, but image four would still be doable. Kitchen is basic with most goodies and a dishwasher. Main bedroom was medium size with modern bathroom. Second bedroom spacious with use of modern bathroom. Privacy would not be compromised with two couples staying. Carport a bit of a challenge for a large SUV but has additional second parking bay in front with good all round access. We liked the clean and open feel of the living area downstairs (parquet floor) as well as the sunny main bedroom. Good value town house. No sense of undesirables around. Would venture to say one of the better estates in the entire Callala beach area. Felt like a home away from home, very relaxing. Great value and would rent it again. Hard to leave for the big smoke again. Oh yes, not the least...rental agency personnel were friendly, professional and flexible. Makes it so much easier to have an enjoyable weekend.
