If you've never been to the Jervis Bay Marine Park area before, you're in for a treat. JB is well known and loved for it's abundance of natural beauty and diversity of flora and fauna.

The local area is quiet and friendly.

The beach is a 5 min. stroll away down a beautiful bush track, close enough to hear the waves and smell the salty air.....

The house is a light, bright, three bedroom property, set on a large corner block within a beautiful native garden, with a choice of front and rear decks.

A mixture of mid century and arts and crafts furnishings and an interesting collection of original artworks by local and Sydney artists, gives Honeyeaters it's unique character.

Furnishings are clean and comfortable.

To enhance the simplicity of the relaxed 60's design, some improvements have been made.

The installation of louvres and glass doors, ceiling and floor fans, gas heating and instantaneous gas hot water, ensures the house is light and breezy in summer and warm and cozy in winter.

Care has been taken to maintain and recycle original materials, retaining the 60's feel and creating additional bench space and storage.

The open plan living, kitchen and dining areas are well furnished, uncluttered and overlook the private, native garden.

The adjoining decks are great to laze around on, day or night. Enjoy the flowering native plants, birdlife, a meal, a book, a drink and some stargazing.

You have a choice of two comfy queen bedrooms, one with garden views. Electric blankets, doonas, pillows, spare blankets and mattress protectors are provided. Both rooms have bedside tables, reading lamps, storage, fans and fly screens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Honeyeaters - it's a fabulous little house, simply styled in a perfect beach shack kind of way! All the amenities in the house provided make it such an easy holiday break to have. Such a calm and relaxing place, lovely and cosy on the cooler evenings. You can hear the ocean every night, an abundance of native birds in the garden, great BBQ deck area out the back. Our family has had a wonderful stay. It's a great location to everything around the area, perfect for taking bikes. A short walk through the lovely Bangalay Sand forest to the beach, we'll be back again! Lovely homeowners, thankyou Lynn and John

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fair to average fibro home My husband and I booked Honeyeaters for our 10 year anniversary and wanted to be close to the beach as we live in the busy streets of inner Sydney. So the mention of "the sound of waves and smell of the ocean air from the house", in the accommodation description was very enticing. Unfortunately we were disappointed on arrival, as the home is not in close enough proximity to hear and smell the waves and ocean air, which was very disheartening. We were also quite disappointed to find cockroaches in the kettle and in the general kitchen area. There were also no hand soap provided in the bathroom or kitchen, a necessary staple. The house was also very hot, even with the fans on, to the point where we had to stay outside and the BBQ was very dirty, so we had to clean this ourselves. This is a very simple fibre home, and we believe the rate we paid is overpriced for this level of accommodation. The best thing about the home is the backyard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is obvious 'Honeyeaters' is much loved by it's owners. It's home away from home. Its beautiful to sit outside and watch the birds life, while the day slips away. The beach is very close and it has many moods, safe swimming. We had many walks along the beach, I really enjoyed the early evening walks in particular. Fish and chips at Currarong. Will definitely be back again.
