This magnificently located, absolute beachfront, stunning architecturally designed beach "shack", truly defines barefoot luxury. From beautiful fresh whites, exposed framework and lime washed floorboards, with glass louvred windows, bifolds and french doors leading out to it's rustic timber decks, Talley's Beach House will take you back in time, whilst providing all of the luxuries and modern touches you expect from todays life.

With the internal dining bench opening through bifolds to a mirror imaged external bar bench, the house provides the perfect casual dining setting. It's interconnecting decks lead down to the gourmet BBQ area framed by timber sleepers and out to over 500sqm of lush level lawn. Your own private timber steps take you directly down to the magnificent white sands and gentle waters of Callala Beach. A guest picnic basket and blanket is available for your convenience.

Watch the kids on the beach from the house, laze the day away over a long lunch and pull up a chair beachside at sunset, but most of all, kick off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes throughout your stay.

With its open plan living & kitchen, master bedroom with expansive water views and second twin bedroom, Talley's is the prefect getaway for a small family or a couple seeking the ultimate in both relaxation and style.

Talley's allows for a maximum of 4 guests although an additional child may occupy the available Porta Cot.

Pets - A small dog may be allowed, subject to agents approval although note that the property is not fully fenced/enclosed Please ensure you do a poop scoop when vacating. Any additional cleaning required due to the pet will incur a $50 cleaning fee.

We have outdoor cushions for your outdoor use and you can find them located on the floor next to the dining chairs and there are also outdoor cushions for the outdoor dining chairs located in the top kitchen cupboard, please return them to their original location after use. All other cushions in the house are strictly for indoor use only.


Located in Callala Beach, a beautiful seaside village, surrounded by National Park and the pristine waters of Jervis Bay.

Approximately 2.5 hours drive from Sydney, with many local attractions including day trips to Berry and Kangaroo Valley. For those interested in wines, there are 11 wineries in the Shoalhaven region. Nearby there is a tennis court for hire and 18 hole golf course at Callala Country club.

By paying online through STAYZ you agree to the following terms and conditions

The property is rented to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the receipt.

The terms and conditions of the holiday rental agreed to by both parties are as follows & variation to the same by guest may permit the agent to refuse keys, amend charges or immediately terminate the occupancy.

Instructions on key pickup will be made a few days prior to arrival.

Checkin is 2:00pm on the day of your arrival with a vacate time of 10:00am on the date of your departure. The property manager must approve variation times. Failure to do so may result in extra days rent being charged. Please do not arrive early.

The property is to be used strictly as a residential dwelling by the guests & the number of occupants must not exceed the maximum set. The property is not to be used for any other purpose. If you use the property for a function, party or other like gathering, your stay at the property will be terminated, all guests & other occupants of the property will be removed ,& all monies paid will be forfeited. Schoolies or any similar party bookings such as Bucks /Hens parties cannot be accepted. Any schoolies bookings carried out by parents or others to circumvent our terms & conditions will result in immediate eviction from the property

All properties under Property One Realty management are privately owned & are rented on fully self-contained basis. In most cases the Owner of the property also uses the property from time to time. WE DO NOT HAVE RESORT ACCOMMODATION Property One Realty acts as letting & managing agent for the property & are required by law to seek & act on the instructions of the owner of the property, even if Property One Realty may disagree with those instructions provided those instructions are within the law.

Property One Realty describe the premises, position & furnishings to be best of their ability & in good faith. Images of the property in any brochure or on any website are to be taken as a general indication of the appearance of the property, for example it is possible that furniture has been replaced or moved. No responsibility or refunds for alleged false or misleading descriptions can be accepted.

Garbage bins are provided with all properties. Please ensure that all garbage is removed from your holiday property & placed in bins provided. Bins need to be placed for collection upon vacating or on Monday evening whichever occurs sooner. In the interest of health & hygiene smoking is not allowed inside the premises.

All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure during their stay & will be responsible for any theft or damage to the property due to neglect in this area. It is important to ensure all windows & doors are closed & locked prior to departing the property.

There is no obligation from the Owner or Property One Realty to compensate or discount for the following minor faults &/or malfunctions of appliances or inclusions. Running out of hot water

Bad weather, weed on the beach, insects

At times situations arise of which we have no control, which may include damage to the property you have booked occurring prior to your stay. We reserve the right to move visitors to alternate accommodation subject to availability at their discretion or the direct instruction of the Property Owner. If this is the case, we will notify you as soon as possible & make every reasonable effort to make sure you are satisfied with your new accommodation.

No liability is accepted for an injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the Agents or Owners control. No responsibility is taken for Guests personal property left on or near the premises. It is recommended that Guests take out personal Property insurance or adequate travel insurance should any unexpected situations arise before or during your travel period.

All guests are responsible for any loss or damage arising from breakages or other damage to the property during their stay, including any additional cleaning, removal of excess garbage, repairs or replacement of items in the property. Please respect the Owners property and do not move furniture around. A fee may be charged should this occur. If keys to the property are lost the guest will be responsible for the changing of the locks & the cutting of new sets of keys The keys are your responsibility so please take care of them.

Should a Guest require spare keys for access after hours. A $50 cash service fee is applicable. If no spare keys are available, the Guest will be liable for any locksmith costs involved in gaining entry to the premises.

If requested we will endeavour to recover & return items of value inadvertently left at the premises, but take absolutely no responsibility for the recovery or return. Postage, packaging & the cost of sending out a staff member to search for the item will need to be paid in advance, a minimum cost of $20.00 applies. Items found & delivered to us by the property cleaners will be held for claiming for a maximum of 2 weeks & if not claimed will be disposed of.

Should a tradesperson be sent out upon your request to carry out a repair that was unnecessary, the cost of the callout will be charged to you. Common examples include not correctly operating televisions, ovens & washing machines. Blocking Toilets. Please do not dispose of flushable wipes in the toilets as this does cause blockages. Please keep showers short

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best holiday ever Our family of 4+ dog stayed for a week in early January. The location is absolute beachfront. What is barely advertised is the huge front yard and trampoline, which was great for soccer and endless jumping. We all had the best holiday ever. We saw Dolphins morning and night both days, abundant wild life, hermit crabs in the sand,a local family of rabbits on the property pelicans and lizard. The linen and beds are beautiful and the fans are more than adequate due to the cross ocean breeze. We will be back shortly- we've vowed to return for an extEnded weekend before this summer is up. Just book it!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing "Talley's", which is in the process of changing its name to "Barefoot at Callala Beach" is, like all of the numerous properties on that side of Quay Road, certainly in a good location on Callala beach. The beach house is also in good condition, as you would expect for an expensive property, but it is not perfect. Aspects of the furnishings are looking a little tired, it has a tiny bath, the Nespresso machine didn't work and it was constantly filled with a variety of flying and crawling insects. We had booked a 3 night stay in November 2016 but early on the second morning, without warning, the owners' power company disconnected the power so there was no light, hot water or cooking facilities, and endless phone calls, hanging around and hassle trying to have this resolved ensued. Not exactly the idyllic, chilled out beachside experience that was advertised. The "emergency number" for the agents who manage the property - Property One - was that of a person who, it transpired, was on her day off. Despite assurances that the power would be reconnected between 2 and 5 pm that day, it wasn't and the agents having offered to move us to the property next door (even though it was clearly occupied) then informed us that they had no alternative accommodation available. Our holiday therefore had to be cut short, we had to return to Sydney at the last minute and no written apology or offer of compensation for the hassle, inconvenience and truncated holiday we suffered was forthcoming (part of the cost of the already discounted third night which we didn't even have was refunded), which was extremely disappointing. After we demanded that this be addressed "a free 3rd night in the shoulder period" was offered (i.e. requiring that we first pay for the 2 much more expensive preceding nights) nights. This of course is not compensation for the inconvenience we suffered and unfortunately our experience of Talley's/Barefoot at Callala Beach ended up being so disappointing and has left us with such a negative impression that we have no desire to return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Hidden Gem in Jervis Bay My wife and I (with our little dog) had the immense pleasure of staying 3 days at your lovely house on Callala Beach. We needed to have a break away from grind of Sydney life and it provided everything we wanted to recharge. From the time we parked in the driveway, we could hear the lapping of waves on the beach and the house is pristine, yet secluded. The house feels like a ‘home away from home’, it had all the modern conveniences we needed and the welcoming bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Many little extras (including Kit Kats, nespresso capsules, beverages mixes, tea bags and dog shampoo!!) made these few days very special. It took only minutes to get soaked up into a relaxing frame of mind and even before we had unpacked we were walking our ‘baby’ on the beach, and saw a pod of dolphins … wow! We were impressed with the quality of toiletries, linen and homeliness. There are two large gardens at the front and back of house so plenty of room for kids and dogs to run around. We went touring the area and found ourselves in Berry and a few of the wineries mentioned in the ‘Guest Folder’. There is also a selection of brochures about local attractions available in the house and we discovered some hidden gems in this part of the world. Overall a truly relaxing holiday and we will be back. Thanks so much, B. and L.
