Freshly renovated with a bright new kitchen and bathroom, Sea-esta is an inviting, modern, well-appointed holiday home in a quiet cul-de-sac, all less than 100 metres easy walk to the beach. Just follow the path opposite the house and you are there no busy roads to cross
Sea-esta has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people 3 x queen beds and 1 set king single bunks. Quality bed linen is supplied.
The bright new kitchen has a Caeserstone bench top and is is fully equipped with an oven/grill, cook top, Bosch dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine if you forget to bring your pods or run out you can buy them at the local Woolworths, a large stainless steel fridge and microwave.
The freshly renovated bathroom is light and airy, with a separate toilet. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water it is located at the side of the house.
There are 2 adjoining living areas, the main with a TV & DVD.
The laundry has a washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities.
The large, level fully fenced back yard is perfect for kids and dogs dogs are welcome with plenty of room to run and play. There is a barbeque and outdoor table setting.
If you don't feel like cooking there are some great options within walking distance - including Culburra Bowling Club book their free hourly shuttle bus if you don't feel like walking/driving. Sea Salt cafe is a great option too, make sure to try their milkshakes.
Culburra has all your basic shopping needs covered - there is a Woolworths, newsagents, post office, surf shop, cafes and take away shops etc all within walking distance from the house about 10 minutes easy walk. The local hardware store sells a small selection of beach toys, crafting activities, board games etc.
Sections of Culburra Beach are patrolled during summer and it’s great for swimming, surfing, fishing, jogging and taking leisurely long walks. Dolphins and humpback whales visit these waters in spring and winter. Culburra Beach is dog friendly and off-leash is allowed. The waves at the south end of the beach are quieter, so it’s perfect for smaller children. The local surf shop offers surfing lessons.
Other great beaches that are an easy drive away include Abrahams Bosom at Currarong. It is fairly flat so excellent for the little ones. Hyams Beach is also beautiful with a reputation for having the whitest sand in the world and there is a little cafe nearby if you want to stop for a bite to eat.
If you feel like a break from the beach there are plenty of things to do and places to visit. Berry it's about half an hour away by car is a popular option with plenty of great shops and cafes/restaurants including The Old Bakery buy some of their muesli or bread to take home, Il Locale Gelato for fresh locally made ice cream and the famous Donut Van. Kangaroo Valley and Kiama are also popular options.
A trip to Jamberoo Action Park is great fun for the kids during the warmer months, or for something a little closer to home there is putt putt golf at Nowra. Also, in Nowra is the Nowra Fresh Fish and Meat Market and next door is the Fruit Barn. They are definitely worth a visit if you want a wide variety of fresh, local and quality produce. If you are looking for somewhere a little special for a meal, Wharf Road is a fantastic option. Visit Greenwell Point and Orient Point for fresh seafood.
Bundanon, the Arthur Boyd estate about half an hour out of Nowra in Illaroo is worth a visit. Check out the beautiful sandstone homestead and pack a picnic lunch to enjoy in the grounds.
