Located in a quiet cul de sac with plenty of trees and greenery around, Raglan Cottage is secluded, peaceful and backs onto Curley's Bay (the river). You are 5 minutes, 500 metres walk from Culburra Beach.This is a great spot for your family holiday or for couples and small groups. And you can bring your pets, though noting that the backyard is not fully fenced. The beach is also dog friendly. You can walk or drive to the village shops and cafes and there's a Woolworths supermarket at Culburra so you don't have to bring food from home. Birds are abundant and we regularly see kookaburras, rosellas and wading birds in the yard.
Enjoy the rear screened deck/ entertaining area with dining table and new 6 burner barbecue and looks out over the water; a perfect spot to watch the sunset on those hot summer nights. Wake up to river views from the king and queen bedrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric oven and microwave, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots,coffee plunger, teapot etc. The pantry has some basic supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, cooking oil, herbs & spices, wrap.
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, toilet, hand basin and bathroom basics such as,soap, some toilet paper and a hairdryer.
The kids will enjoy entertaining themselves in the old bus parked in the backyard and set up as a chill out zone for them. There are a few boogie boards they can use at the beach.
Heaters and a fan will keep you feeling comfortable. Rainy day? No problem - we have a television, DVD player and a PS3 for movies and games. There are movies to choose from (and some PS3 games) or you can bring your own. There are also board games and books if you want to completely indulge in life before electronics!
Bring your own canoes and launch them from the nearby boat ramps at Orient Point or Crookhaven Heads, or at high tide carry them down through the mangroves at the bottom of the yard (too muddy for some).
Please let us know if you are bringing pets.They need to be supervised, and kept off the furniture please. We provide bowls for food and water and you provide their bedding.
Bedrooms are spacious with no bunks or extra beds squashed in: Bedroom 1: King bed; Bedroom 2: Queen bed; Bedroom 3: 2 Single beds. Bed linen is provided for your stay, also towels, face cloths, bathmat and tea towels. You need to bring your own beach towels. Beds are comfortable and freshly made with both European and standard sized pillows and there are electric blankets.
Raglan Cottage is Australian owned and we do not request payment to an overseas account. We do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks, weddings or parties.
Culburra Beach is a picturesque 2.5 hour drive from both the Sydney CBD and Canberra. The town is the perfect place to relax and unwind, but also offers you a variety of activities.

Endless walks on 4km of Culburra Beach or enjoy the beach with swimming, surfing, body boarding, snorkeling, windsurfing. Warrain Beach, another popular surf beach, is 3.5km away
Fishing both river and ocean. Orient Point & Crookhaven are also great spots for fishing, or wharf fishing at night on the Shoalhaven River. If you prefer to buy rather than catch the fish, you will find excellent seafood at the at Nowra Fresh Fish and Meat Market or great fish and chips at Pelican Rocks Cafe in Greenwell Point
Boating & kayaking, golf, tennis at local courts, BMX track nearby, horse riding
Whale and dolphin watching (seasonal)
Restaurant hopping & visit local wineries; day trips to Kangaroo Valley, Berry and beaches around Jervis Bay
For bush walkers, Morton & Conjola National Parks are only a short drive away OR
