A side note: we are dog friendly but our property is not fenced. To fence the house would create a sense of being hemmed in and we love that our property is open to the bush and sea. We welcome well behaved and clean flea-treated dogs into our beach house but please respect the fact that pets are not allowed on the beds or the sofas. If you do want to bring your pooch make sure to let me know so I can explain the situation further. And please remember during the summer season ticks are a problem and because we front the bush you need to make sure your dog has been treated. We provide dog beds, dog bowls and toys for your pooch. If you did need to leave your furry friend alone it is possible to contain him or her on the back deck. As long as they're not stressed at being left alone and aren't likely to claw the screen door (which has recently been replaced), it's perfectly safe for them. They too can enjoy the view!
Prices quoted are inclusive for up to 6 people. The property sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. The children's single beds are not suitable for adults.
*Extra guests (over 6 people) incur an extra fee of $25 per person per stay, not including babies or toddlers. The little ones are free.
*We can accommodate a baby or toddler as there is a portable cot with linen at no extra charge. Just let us know so that we can have the linen available for you. It is important to note that you must declare the number of people staying at the house. Not doing so will mean that money is debited from bond.
* We endeavour to make costs explicit but stayz is always changing. Please know we advertise on other platforms, often cheaper.
*As stated bedlinen and bath towels are included in your tariff (1 bath towel per person). Let us know if you require additional towels or beach towels. We can provide these at extra cost of $5 per towel per stay.
*If you are a couple wishing to rent the house we can adjust quoted tariffs to suit your needs. This does not apply during peak seasons but is applicable any other time. Please don't hesitate to ask. You are dealing directly with the owners.
*We regret that we now must request payments to be made through online booking.
*PLEASE BE ADVISED that this is not a party house but a home for family and friends to get together and enjoy a quiet break. We do not allow electronic music outside the house or outdoor noise after 9pm. We do not take schoolies bookings at all. We also do not accept bookings for parties, weddings and other forms of celebrations. Surf Mist is leased to responsible adults 25 and over. We have lovely neighbours with children who are permanent residents and we must insist that our guests respect their privacy and show courtesy regarding noise and loud music etc.
