"Olivere" is a welcoming holiday house within easy walking distance of Culburra’s two main beaches. It is located approximately 250 m from Culburra Beach and 350 m from Warrain Beach.
The newly renovated house comfortably accommodates up to 9 people with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one with bath, the main kitchen downstairs and a kitchenette upstairs. The large open plan living room upstairs opens onto the covered deck with ocean views.
The house would suit a large family or 2 smaller families with a kitchen and bathroom on each floor.
The fully fenced yard with expansive lawn areas is perfect for relaxing outside as well as a safe area for the kids and pets.
The house has two bedrooms downstairs and three up the colourfull internal stairs. Three bedrooms have queen beds, one has a double bed and one small room has a single bed. An overflow room downstairs has a day bed, which converts into a comfortable queen size bed. A portable cot, high chair and baby bath are also available.
An outside hot shower is ideal for rinsing off after a swim at the beach.
There is no wifi, but mobile internet connection with Telstra works reasonably well.
Note: Linen and towels are not supplied. They can be hired locally if required.
Culburra Beach is large enough to have a range of stores including a Woolworths supermarket and several cafes and dining options, but doesn’t get too hectic even in midsummer. Major services are available in Nowra.
It is 2.5 to 3 hours drive from central Sydney and a 2 hours 45 min drive from Canberra.
Culburra is almost surrounded by water with two surf beaches plus safe swimming areas for the kids, a river estuary and a large coastal lake. Activities within a couple of minutes of the house include swimming, surfing, snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing and lazing or walking on the beach.
Scenic bushwalks are available on Beecroft Peninsula, a 15 minute drive to the south. The sheltered waters of Jervis Bay are also only a 10 minute drive away.
Huskisson is approximately 40 minutes drive with a range of activities including whale watching tours from June to November, dining and live music.
There are a number of wineries in the Shoalhaven area and the villages of Berri and Kangaroo Valley are worth a visit as well.
