'Bombora' is a traditional, simple beach house. The living spaces are generous and airy. There's one large bedroom in the main house, and two large bedrooms in the adjacent studio, only metres from the house in a large level established garden. There is a large rear deck with shade sail.
The house is freshly painted with polished wooden floors. The studio is newly renovated. All rooms have ceiling fans.
'Bombora' accomodates a maximum of eight people. The master bedroom in the house has a double bed and a folding baby's cot. The studio has two large bedrooms: one has a double and a single bed; the other room has three singles and a trundle bed.
There is one bathroom with a toilet and shower. There is also an outside WC and a handy outside hot water shower.
Currarong - secret of the South Coast
'Bombora' is located on the village side of Currarong - only one street back from Bosom Beach, the famous rockpool and the nature reserve.
Abraham's Bosom Beach is a protected unspoilt beach perfect for swimming, paddling, snorkelling and canoeing. The adjacent Nature Reserve is great for walking and cycling. Visit the wreck of the SS Merimbula and the cliffs of Mermaids Inlet. Lobster Bay and Honeysuckle Point are great for a secluded swim and picnic.
Surf on nearby Warrain beach. The white sand beaches of Jervis Bay National Park are a short drive away. Visit the lighthouse at Point Perpendicular for spectacular views. Also on the Beecroft Peninsula - Honeymoon Bay and the wild surf of Target Beach.
