Configuration - Ellengowan is a singlelevel farmhouse with7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Suitable for 10 adults and 4 children.
There is 1queen rooms, 3 king rooms and 2children's rooms, 1with 2 single beds, and 1 that can also be used as a play room with 2 single beds and a selection of games and toys. There are 3 bathrooms all with vanity, shower and toilet and one with a claw foot bathtub.
Ellengowan has 2 living areas, the first has 4 comfortable sofas, a wood fireplace,flat screen TV andsliding doors that open to thedeck. The main living area has a flat screen TV, 2 sofasandis divided from the dining room by a double sided wood fireplace. In the dining area there is a hugetimber table with seating for 16. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, it has adishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, gas cooktop, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger and aservery window leading out to second living room. There is also alaundry with Fisher and Paykal auto sensing dryer, second fridge, washing machine and sink.
Outdoors -Ellengowan has great outdoor areas. There is a veranda that wraps around the back half of the house. An above ground full fenced pool set into the deck, next to the pool is an outdoor setting with umbrella, 2 large day beds, and multiple deck chairs, sun lounges, etc.
Step down 5 steps to another level of the deck with a firepit overlooking the creek. There is also a vege garden, trampoline and children's swing on a tree.
Heating and cooling - Ellengowan has 3 wood fireplaces to keep you cozy in winter, there are ceiling fans in some bedrooms and portable fans provided to keep you cool in summer.
Linen -Pillows, blankets, doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel
Parking -There is off street, open air parking for 4cars on the driveway
Pets - Ellengowan is a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules:
A pet surcharge of $50 applies
Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms
The property is not fenced and is surrounded by farmland and farm animals so pets must be closely supervised at all times
Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and during NSW school holidays and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not generally schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
Internet/WiFi access -This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that we or the owner cannot guarantee 100 that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if it is problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
Please note -
Ellengowan is ideally suited for a large family gathering, or two families going away together. Groups of 10 or more adults may be permitted, but only once we have an understanding of the age, nature and make up of the group. Party groups, bucks, hens or other rowdy gatherings are definitely not permitted at Ellengowan - sorry.
There is an unfenced creek on the property, small children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Friendly horses live in a paddock near theentry to the property you are welcome to pat the, butpleasekeep gates closed at all times.
