Configuration - Lands End is a single level home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large combined living / kitchen / dining room, plus a TV room.
Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with views over the ocean and opens directly on to the deck. Bedroom 2 has a king bed with garden views and bedroom 3 has a queen bed. There is also additional bedding in the TV room with a queen sofa bed that can be used as a 4th bedroom.
The main bathroom has a rainforest shower, bath, vanity, full laundry and toilet. The ensuite bathroom, with rainforest shower, vanity and toilet, is off the ocean facing queen bedroom.
The large combined living / kitchen / dining room room has a sunny breakfast area with 3 sets of sliding doors opening onto the wraparound deck and that view
The kitchen features dishwasher, double size fridge, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine BYO pods and the dining table seats 8.
The main living area has a 56 HD Plasma TV with Sony integrated sound bar for TV and Bluetooth connectivity, an Apple TV and the house has an extensive DVD library. The TV room has a 42 Plasma TV with Sony integrated sound bar.
Lands End is connected with fast NBN enabled WiFi.
Outdoors - Lands End has a full width wrap around infinity deck overlooking the ocean - perfect for whale and dolphin watching during the migration season. An outdoor dining setting for eight, Adirondack deck chairs, as well as a large gas BBQ feature. The lawn adjoins farm land, usually busy with grazing cows
Heating and cooling - Lands End has a gas log fireplace in the living room as well as electric heating in both the living and TV rooms. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the living areas can be opened up to take in the ocean breeze.
Linen - Luxury linen, pillows, blankets, duvets and bath towels are provided. However, please bring your favourite beach towel.
Parking - There is off street open air parking for 1 car on the driveway and street parking for 2 cars
Pets - Land End is a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules:
Small dogs only
A pet surcharge of $50 applies
Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms
The yard is not fenced
Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Minimum stay - There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season.Peak season runs from mid December to the end of January
Peak changeover day - Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not generally schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
Internet / WIFI access - Lands End provides complimentary NBN enabled WiFi and a password is available at the property. Please note however that we or the owner cannot guarantee 100 that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if it is problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
