Location -Hawkesnest is very centrally located at 44 Hawke Street,Huskisson. It is within walking distance of either the town centre and harbour, or the local beaches. Rear lane access also gives safer and easier access to either White Sands Park and its beautifulbeach 250m walk via Bowen Street, or Huskission Beach 400m walk via Nowra Street.
Key Features -all townhouses in Hawkesnest are stylish, well appointed, carefully designed and fully landscaped - offering the complete package for a great weekend getaway or holiday. In addition, this townhouse has private decks to both upstairs bedrooms as well as a private, fenced lawn area.
Configuration -this townhouse has a double storey configuration. Downstairs has a single lock up garage with internal access to the unit,an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, outdoor deck with BBQ, a shared bathroom shower, bath and toilet, and one of the three bedrooms.
Upstairs has two bedrooms, each with its own private, covered deck. The bedrooms share a bathroom with shower and toilet.
All units at Hawkesnest have rear lane access to make the walk to the beaches easier, as well as use of the communal outdoor shower when you return.
Outdoors - the townhousehas an outdoor, covereddeck with table and chairs + BBQ. It also has a fenced private lawn area. All gardens in the complex are fullylandscaped and privacy screening and fencing has been erected where needed. There is rear lane access for walking to the beach and a shared outdoor shower.
Heating and cooling -the townhouse has one split system airconditioning unit in the downstairs living, kitchen, dining area, and heaters and blankets are provided for each bedroom for the cooler months.
Linen -linen and bath towels are provided at Hawkesnest. Please however remember to bring your own beach towels.
Parking - parking is available for 1 vehicle in an extra wide single lock up garage. The complex also has two visitor spaces servicing 4 of the units.
Pets - sorry, but 5/44 Hawke Street is not pet friendly. Units 2 and 3 in the same complex are however pet friendly.
Minimum stay -there is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that reliableADSL and / or the NBN are progressively being rolled out in Jervis Bay. Therefore, if a property has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
Special information -please be aware that the central driveway is shared by all 5 units and access should not be blocked.
