"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location -Sea Star is situated at the southern end of Hyams Beach in a quiet bush setting. Surrounded by the sounds of the bush and the beach, you are only wandering distance from the cafe, the beach and bushwalks.
Configuration - Entry is on the middle/mezzanine level where there is a single bedroom. Downstairs are living areas that lead out to the back yard via double doors. There are two lounge/sitting areas, one more casual than the other. The kitchen is well equipped with all the mod cons. Additionally there is a large laundry with toilet and shower. Upstairs on varying levels are the remaining bedrooms, 1 x queen with en-suite and builtins, 1 x queen with builtins and bay windows and at the very top is the kids room with 3 x singles and a cot. There is a big bathroom with separate bath and shower. Havingskylights throughout the whole place has an open free flow feel.
Outdoors - There is a BBQ area at the back of the lawn that is on an elevated self standing garden deck. A beautiful back yard that backs on to the bush. The house is situated on a corner block.
Heating and Cooling- Sea Star has anelectric heater underthe stairs anda combustion fireplace in the living room. The kitchen,dining and downstairs living area have a splitsystem air conditioner, and some of the bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Linen - Sea Star does supply linen for guests. Please however remember to bring your beach towels.
Parking - There is a double garage for guest use which is accessible from inside the house.
Pets - Sorry, Sea Star is not a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
