24 Hyam is a spacious, well designed and recently refurbished beach house that is perfect for a family or a group of friends. It has a peaceful setting at the top of Hyams Road, surrounded by nature, close to beautiful bush walks, and only 300 metres to the closest beach.
This property is professionally managed as part of the largest portfolio of 100+ holiday houses in Jervis Bay with its office in Hyams Beach and 7 x 24 customer service.
"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - Nestled at the top of Hyams Road a quiet cul-de-sac and adjoining natural bushland, 24 Hyam is centrally located relative to the various beaches and the cafe. With an elevated position, it captures good views and summer breezes.
Key Features - 24 Hyam has good front and rear decks, a lovely bush setting, and is in a quiet location. It also has a wood combustion fire for a chilly night.
Configuration - 24 Hyam is a split level, spacious home with an ensuite king bedroom downstairs and three bedrooms on the middle level two with queen beds, and one with two single beds. A large comfortable lounge and living area with combustion fire gives access to a rear deck with BBQ, overlooking the back yard. An upstairs level has the kitchen and dining room with sliding doors to the large entertaining deck at the front of the house. Carpeted throughout, apart from upstairs, this home is cosy and comfortable.
Outdoors - 24 Hyam adjoins the bush. There are lovely bush aspects from nearly all parts of the house. Great bush walks are also right on your doorstep.
Heating and cooling - 24 Hyam has a slow combustion wood fire in the lounge, as well as a split-system air-conditioning unit, also located in the lounge.
Linen - 24 Hyam provides high quality linen and bath towels. Please however remember to bring your beach towels.
Parking - There is a carport for one car and room for 2 more cars in the driveway.
Pets - 24 Hyam is a pet friendly property, subject to the following rules:
Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms
If your dog will be inside at some stage please provide bedding and limit him or her to one area
The top deck is an ideal location for pets to sleep as it is undercover. This means pets will need to be taken through the house to access this area, which is permissible
The back deck has a gate and pets can be confined to this area in the shade if you wish to leave them and go out
Part of the yard is fully fenced
Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Two stainless steel dog bowls are provided. Please wash them prior to your departure
Lastly, please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home. Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
