"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - An idyllic locale, Sea Magic is a weatherboard cottage located beachside at the southern end of Hyams village and is only a short strollto the Hyams Beach Cafe.
Key Features - An original beach side cottage, Sea Magic has sensationalviews,and is nestled in manicured native gardens that hide a well constructed path that leadsdown to the white sands of Hyams Beach. The property looks directlyout towards Point Perpendicular and Bowen Island. A beautiful wood fire is in the living room for those cooler winter nights.
Configuration - With floor boards throughout, this interesting cottage has an eclectic decor and is well furnished with comfy couches and easy chairs. It is a one level property with an open lounge fronting the beachside deck where the views are nothing short of outstanding. Slip through the curtains from the living area to the master bedroom, which also takes in the same fabulous vista and has access to the deck. The second double bedroom also takes in the view and the sunny third bedroom has 2 singles. The 4th bedroom is a sleepout detached from the house with 2 single beds and a small lounge and 2nd TV. The sleep-out has closer access to the second shower and toilet as well as the laundry which is located outside. A hot and cold outdoor shower is also located in between the laundry and annexe to rinse off the sand after your visit to the beach.There is an efficient galley style kitchen with modern appliances and an older style bathroom with some newer features.
Outdoors - Apart from the huge deck at the front of the house there are more outdoor living spaces; a sunny deck at the rear of the house and a protected side patio with BBQ. For a beach-loving family or a group of close friends this is the ultimate beach shack. Laze on the deck, pop across the sand for a quick dip or for the more energetic perhaps a run or brisk walk along the beach to HMAS Creswell.
Heating and Cooling - 90 Cyrus is fitted with a fireplace to keep you warm during the cooler months.
Linen - Sea Magic supplies linen and bath towels for your stay. Please bring your own beach towels however.
Parking - There is off street parking for 2 cars on a circular driveway off Cyrus Street.
Pets - Sorry, Sea Magic is not a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- Please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
