Summerdaze is a casual and comfortable, yet older style beach house, located at the top of Bayview Avenue - only a 300 metre walk from the beautiful main beach at Hyams. It has great views over the bay from a large deck, and a lovely bushland setting. It is a very good, affordable, older style accommodation option in Hyams Beach.
Location - Located at the top end of a cul-de-sac, Summerdaze is set in a peaceful bush setting high above Hyams. The views to the bay and the surrounding bushland are breath taking.
Key Features - Quiet location and great views of Jervis Bay.
Configuration - At the top of the driveway there is parking under the house that can accommodate up to four cars. There is also a downstairs laundry, shower and toilet on this level. A flight of external stairs then leads up to a large deck and the living level of the house. Once inside, the house is open plan and newly furnished, with a good sized kitchen. There are three bedrooms: one queen, a double and two bunk beds - all of which share a shower / toilet / vanity bathroom. This is an excellent property for a laid back family or group looking for a holiday home close to the beach and cafe.
Outdoors - The property backs on to the bush with no houses behind. There is a deck upstairs that runs the length of the front of the house where there is a gas BBQ. The views are wide and stunning and there is an outdoor setting.
Heating and Cooling - the house is set with an electric heater and a small pedestal fan. The elevated position of Summerdaze allows natural cooling in the summer.
Linen -Yes, linen is supplied at Summerdaze. Please, however, remember to bring your beach towels.
Parking - There is undercover parking for up to four cars. Please be aware that the driveway access to this property is steep and requires careful attention when coming in or out. Driveway parking is not recommended.

Minimum stay - There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Special Information - Summerdaze has a steep driveway with difficult access from the road. You need to be a confident driver to get up and down the driveway, failing which there is the option to park one card on the road in front of the driveway.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- NBN is progressively rolling out along the South Coast of NSW. If your house does have internet and if the owner makes it available to guests, you mayuse it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or find a local cafe or library that offers free wifi. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
