"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special - this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - Vue Mer is located in a prime position on the main access road into Hyams Beach. It is a very short stroll to the cafe and to two of the beaches in Hyams. The house also has a beautiful bay vista from the upstairs deck.

Configuration - Vue Mer is a large 2 storey house. The downstairs level comprises an entrance hall, 2 bedrooms, laundry, lounge / TV room, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The upstairs level comprises 3 bedrooms one of which is the main with en-suite, shared bathroom, a kitchen / dining area and lounge room. There are spectacular views of Jervis Bay from the upstairs living area with large glass doors opening onto the verandah.
Outdoor area - Vue Mer has a large grassed area at the rear of the property. Please be advised that this area isnotfully fenced. There is also an outdoor breakfast bar on the upstairs balcony and a gas BBQ.
Heating and Cooling - Vue Mer is equipped with various electric heaters and all of the all upstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans. There are also some pedestal fans provided.
Linen - Vue Mer does not supply linen. Please therefore bring the following for each bed for your stay: fitted sheet, top sheet, pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats, and face cloths. Alternatively, we can provide you with the details of a linen provider if you want to hire linen and towels instead.
Parking - Vue Mer has two dedicated parking bays, and a long side drive way providing additional parking for two cars and / or a boat.
Pets - Vue Mer is pet friendly on application, subject to the following rules:
Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house
Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms
If your dog will be inside at some stage please provide bedding and limit him or her to one area - ideally downstairs
Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately
Please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home. Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure
Minimum stay - There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day - Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access - please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
