"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - Koru is located near the top the Bayview Avenue cul-de-sac. It is nestled in natural bushland and has views to Jervis Bay from its decks. It is an easy walk down Bayview Avenue to Hyams Beach, and further along Cyrus Street is the Hyams Beach Cafe.
Key Features - Koru is spacious, very well appointed, and has a prominent, elevated position.Quality mattress and linen are provided on all beds, with ceiling fans in each bedroom and lounge room, in addition to reverse cycle air conditioning in living area. Floor heating in bathroom and ensuite adds a further touch of luxury in winter.
Configuration - Koru is a split four level design. Ground level has a single garage and an outdoor shower. Stairs from the front door lead up a to the second level with the main living area, comprising a comfortable lounge area, a spacious and well equipped kitchen, a dining area seating 8 and a good sized deck with barbeque, and outdoor table also seating 8. The living room includes a large TV with home theatre, Blueray, and iPhone dock. The ensuite queen bedroom is also located on this level and has its own balcony and TV. The mezzanine level has a second queen bedroom, shared main bathroom with spa bath, and an internal laundry with third toilet. The house is completed by an upper level that has the third queen bedroom and a spacious fourth bedroom with two king singles. The laundry has a large washing machine, with a dryer located in the garage.
Outdoors - Koru has limited outdoor areas due to it's hilly location, however a wonderful decks throughout the house allow for a brush with nature.
Heating and Cooling - Koru is equipped with 4 ceiling fans overall along with air-conditioning. There are also electric heaters throughout the house.
Linen - All bed linen is provided including bath towelsat Koru. Please however remember to bring your own beach towels.
Parking - Koru has a steep driveway requiring some care directions available in house guide. There is a single garage at top of the driveway, and parking space mid-level of the driveway. Street parking is also available.
Pets - are not permitted at Koru.
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
Special Information- With limited outdoor areas, a steep driveway and stairs throughout the property, this house may be better suited to friends or families with older children.
