Location - Vintage Rose is located at the northern end of Hyams in a tranquil locale adjacent to the national park walks. It is close to Chinaman's beach and a walk along the White Sands coastal walk through to Greenfields and Blenheim beaches.
Key Features - Very comfortable and cosy furnishings, this property is in the quietest street in Hyams Beach but very close to the beach. The lovely yard, though unenclosed, is great for children and for relaxing.
Configuration - in the whole house configuration, the upstairs level has two well appointed bedrooms 1 queen, 1 bunks and a sun room with a single / day bed. There is also a lovely open plan lounge and dining with an adjacent outdoor porch - perfect for alfresco dining. The downstairs level is a self-contained studio with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom and covered outdoor / BBQ area. The whole house is a great configuration for two couples with kids, a family of up to seven, or a family holidaying with grandparents.
Outdoors - Vintage Rose has a lovely backyard, an upstairs porch and adjoining the downstairs studio,an enclosed verandah/BBQ area.
Outdoors - This property offers a large back lawn with plenty of outfdoor furniture choice.
Heating and cooling - Vintage Rose has air-conditioning upstairs, a ceiling fan, 2 pedestal fans, two electric heaters.
Linen -Vintage Rose does supply linen for guests. Please however remember to bring your own beach towels.
Parking -There is off street parking for many cars including a boat if required.
Pets - Sorry, Vintage Rose is not a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- Please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
