"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - Bimbimbie is located in the northern end of the village, but is still only a short walk to the local cafe and beaches of Hyams. It is particularly close to Chinamans beach and its beautiful white sand.
Key features - Bimbimbie is a comfortable, relaxed and spacious beach house. It has a large deck with great views over Jervis Bay, perfect for entertaining or a barbecue.
Configuration - Bimbimbie is a two-storey house with three bedrooms upstairs (king; 2 x single; 1 x single + trundle) and one downstairs (1 x king). Each level has its own bathroom - spa bath, shower and toilet upstairs, and shower and toilet downstairs. The main living area is upstairs with an open plan lounge, bar and dining room connecting to a good sized deck that runs the full width of the house. The kitchen is also on the upper level - and all of the living areas have views across the bay through large sliding door windows. The downstairs level has a good sized rumpus room - perfect for the kids - and the internal laundry is combined with the shower / toilet. A spiral staircase connects each level internally and there is outside access to both sides of the deck. The lock up garage and shed are for private use by the owner.
Outdoors - Bimbimbie has a fully fenced backyard garden and a deck overlooking Jervis Bay's stunning water views. The deck offers a perfect spot for entertaining guests in the lazy afternoons after a day at the beach.
Heating and Cooling- Bimbimbie is equipped with a combustion fireplace and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
Linen - Bimbimbie supplies linen and bath towels. However, please remember to bring your own beach towels.
Parking - There is no access to the property's garage however there is ample parking space for up to 5 cars in the two driveways. One car space has a carport covering it.
Pets - Bimbimbie is a pet friendly property and has a fully fenced back yard with pet door that accesses the downstairs rumpus room. Please do not allow pets on the furniture or beds, bring your own dog bed, control your dog at all times and clean up after it, both inside and out - thanks!
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
Special information - Please note that the kitchen is not equipped with a dishwasher and thatthe garage is not available to guests.
