CASA RITA is a light and airy, spacious 3 bedroom, self contained house in Sanctuary Point located 3 minutes walk from Palm Beach where you can swim, fish, sail or kayak. Walk along the basin shore or laze in our sun drenched garden. Sanctuary Point has a laid back feeling about it, a village away from the hectic tourists places in near by Jervis Bay.

A drive of 4km gets you to the magnificent Jervis Bay beaches.

The house is full of character, has plenty of space and is furnished to accommodate 6 people comfortably.

One room has a queen size bed, another room has a double bed and the third room has two single beds. Two bedrooms have water view glimpses. All bed rooms have inbuilt cupboards.

There is a bath tub, shower and a separate toilet and hand wash basin. In the laundry is a washing machine and iron facilities.

The lounge room is set up with a large TV, DVD DVD's in house and many games and magazines.

It has a wood fire stove lots of wood to use, it will heat the whole house. The house is also equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioner.

The spacious kitchen has a 4 burner electrical stove and oven and provides all necessary utensils for the chef including knives that cut and specials like a sandwich press, espresso pots and rice cooker.

The huge sun room with outlook onto the garden is furnished with a big solid wood dining table, a futon sofa, a chaise a lounge and a stereo system with I port & USB input and lots of CD's.

There is an outdoor setting in the large native garden and an electric or old style BBQ.

The garden is not fenced and therefore not safe for pets.

There are boogie boards, noodles and several toys for use. Also beach chairs, a sun lounge and a hammock.

The house has a big car port and lots of parking space around.

Prices are based on up to 6 adults or 4 adults and up to 2 children under the age of 14 yrs.

Min. stay mid week is 3 nights - mid week is Sun to Thurs.

Weekend is 2 nights - long weekend is 3 nights

One week is 7nights

Local and special Casa Rita attractions...

CASA RITA is situated in a quiet street only 3 min. walk to the tranquil waters of St Georges Basin Beach 'Palm Beach'. This beach offers toilets, BBQ and shade giving trees. The water is calm and shallow therefore safe for kids, also good for swimming, fishing, kayaking, sailing, canoeing. It is also the start of the Basin Walk which leads all around the basin shore line.

Enjoy the view of pelicans, cormorants, ducks. See Pigeon House Mountain and Sussex Inlet across the water and be amazed by the most beautiful sunsets over the basin.

A proper motor boat ramp is 1min. drive down the road.

Just from the house is a corner shop/cafe with free internet/ WiFi excess.

In Sanctuary Point downtown, about 15 or a short drive, you'll find 2 bakeries/cafes, supermarket, butcher, Pizza, Thai, Chinese, Fish & Chips, bottle shop, ATM, Medical Center and a bicycle place. There is a bike track from Sanctuary Point to Jervis Bay hire bikes are at Sanctuary Point.

You could walk to the Basin Country Club or call for the free bus to pick you up and bring you home. The club offers Golf, Tennis, Squash and Lawn Bowl.

Or you could just charge your batteries by staying at CASA RITA and enjoy its huge garden with bird life and frequent visitors like kangaroos or possums. Take photos, read, play games watch a good DVD, listen to music via a great sound system, learn or improve your table tennis, or just dream in the hammock, shaded by old gum trees.

More things to do

Close to Sanctuary Point you'll find the stunning Jervis Bay Beaches, where you can swim, surf, snorkel, dive, see dolphins, penguins, seals, whales July-Aug &Nov.-early Dec walk along the white sandy beaches or enjoy one of the many bush walks in the Boodorie National Park.

A 15 min. drive takes you to Huskisson. There you can visit the retro cinema the market,one of the many trendy restaurants and shops, the pub/restaurant or the RSL.

You could leave the car and bicycle around.
