This is a quote from John Burrows, but describes how you will feel from the moment you drive down the driveway of big maple trees to the house, the escarpment views open and you are immediately surrounded by the many different shades of green, old roses, iris and fruit trees in the the old established garden . The birds sweep through the garden calling each other and the breeze gently rustles through the huge Pin Oak trees that protect the old dairy and the farm shed.
This is our own very private property, with verandahs that wrap around the three sides of the house allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of the valley. Every window that you look through shows a different scene of natural beauty.
Located in the Upper Kangaroo River area, one of the best positions in the valley and a stones throw away from the famous "Flat Rock" swimming area.

To the rear of the house you can pick from the many fruit trees throughout the seasons including figs, plums, oranges, mandarins & persimmons to name a few. Or sit under the old Japenese Maple, Oak trees or large pines all providing a different aspect.
There are also big enclosed vegetable gardens filled with strawberries, lettuces, herbs and salad requirements to sample for your enjoyment.
It's our country home and we welcome you.The home has four bedrooms consisting of two queen size beds, one double and two long singles which can be zipped to a king sized bed if required.
The rooms are bright with freshly chalk painted walls, where rich stained timber floors covered in Kilims and assorted armadillo rugs fill the house.
The main bedroom, featuring a separate toilet, has a beautiful bay window and door leading to the verandah and garden. Each bedroom is spacious in size and opens out to the covered verandahs and garden.
The bedrooms feature a unique feel with pendant lights, luxury crisp white sheets, waffle cotton blankets and additional doonas on each bed. Prepare to feel spoilt
The house is U shaped with a beautiful rose walled courtyard that has the northern sun streaming in all day through the many doors and large windows.
The kitchen is fully equipped with quality items for all your baking and entertaining needs and also includes a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and family sized toaster.
Enjoy meals outside in the courtyard,. dine at the timber table and benches surrounded by walls covered with rambling "Pierre De Ronsard Roses ". You may also choose to dine under the grape pergola -seats 10
The house is fully air-conditioned and has fans for the hot summer nights and for the warm winters you'll be comforted by the linen sofas and log fire.
There is one main bathroom, large in size, which contains a separate bath and shower. A separate toilet is located down the hall and the main bedroom has its own toilet.
The house has TV, games, books and puzzels.
