FROM TIME TO TIME this newly-renovated, 2-storey family home is available as a holiday rental for limited periods. Situated in Kiama Heights, you can see the waves crashing against the rocks of Loves Bay and the view from the house extends way down the coast, out to sea and over rural farmland. Whales can be seen from the house during their annual migration north & south.

ALL YOUR bed and bath linen is supplied as part of your booking.

USE THE house as a base for your swimming, surfing, boating, snorkeling, fishing, cycling, golfing or hiking activities, or as a place to relax in the conservatory with a good book, or to just watch the ocean.

FROM HERE you can:

Walk 300 metres to the end of the street and join the Kiama Coast Track to Gerringong or go fishing on the Loves Bay rock shelf

Walk 500 metres the other way to the headland above Easts Beach then down the grassy track to the beach and rocks

Drive for 5 minutes to reach Kiama township, cafes, restaurants, boat harbour, lighthouse, blowhole

Drive for 5 minutes the other way to reach Gerringong township, Werri Beach, cafes etc

Explore the area - Jamberoo Water Park, Saddleback Mountain, Jamberoo township, Shellharbour, Minnamurra Rainforest, take the 2-car diesel passenger train from Kiama to Bomaderry through heritage railway tunnels and beautiful countryside, the Illawarra Fly and Robertson in the Southern Highlands is about 30kms away via Jamberoo Mountain Road.

LOCATED IN Kiama Heights, this fully self-contained family home has:

4 bedrooms 3 with queen beds, 1 with double bed. Upstairs 3 beds, downstairs 1 bed.

2 new bathrooms, one is ensuite to main plus a 3rd toilet downstairs.

Open-plan kitchen, living & dining with 55" TV.

Fully equipped new kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pod coffee machine, coffee plunger, sandwich press, blender etc.

Conservatory overlooking Loves Bay, rolling hills and great views way down the coast.

Front deck overlooking Loves Bay.

Covered rear deck with BBQ overlooking a terraced backyard and lawns.

Separate games room with another TV plus a DVD player and pool table.

Off-street parking for 3 cars and plenty of on-street parking available.

THE HOUSE layout is as follows:

Downstairs - entry foyer, study/sitting area, 1 bedroom, laundry with toilet, games room with pool table.

Upstairs - kitchen, lounge, dining, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, conservatory, front deck & rear deck.

WE SUPPLY bed linen, pillows, quilts, blankets, tea towels, dishwashing requisites, bathroom towels, handwashing soap; please bring your own beach towels.


In the event you need assistance or information, the owners are nearby and a local manager is close.

This property is suitable for an absolute maximum of 8 persons including children.

The house is 2-storey with one full set of internal stairs and does not have a stair gate.

This residential area is very peaceful and quiet. Our neighbours are not on holiday therefore we do not allow bucks & hens parties, schoolies, large groups, parties or anything that will disturb other residents.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets.

Please refrain from using the barbecue or decks after 10pm and before 7am to reduce noise.

This property does not allow smoking indoors or near open doors or windows.

Regarding OH&S, Fire Safety and local Council rules, you must declare to the owners, managers or caretakers the number of adults & children staying overnight, each night, at this property.

The premises are secured by external 24-hour surveillance cameras.

Please inspect the property on arrival and immediately report any damage or problems to the owner in writing via email or text message.

This property adheres to Stayz guidelines using the Holiday & Short Term Rental Code of Conduct, the House Rules and Terms & Conditions for Bay House Kiama, copies of which will be emailed to you prior to any payment request. Please make yourself and all other guests familiar with the content of these documents as any payment by you indicates your acceptance of same.

Your security deposit of $900 will be refunded promptly after a satisfactory post-departure inspection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic house,Great Location We stayed at the bay house over easter and found it to be perfect for our family. There were 6 adults and 2 children and the house had plenty of room to accomodate us all. The location could not be better situated, with the spectacular views and the beaches a short walk away. I would highy recommend staying here and we will certainly be going back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely place to stay With two adults and five kids we stayed at the Bay House Kiama for 6 nights in January 2014. We had a lovely stay with all the things we needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with helpful things we needed (like bubble bath for the kids). Lots of games and books to entertain us. Lots of fans to help with the hot nights. A clean and tidy house with a great view of Kiama heights.  Thanks for a great stay.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misleading The view from the house was amazing & the house was well equipped with everything we needed except the food. Was great with the BBQ outside & front sun room. Only thing that we found to be very misleading was the fact that the owner lives in a granny flat underneath the house. For my guests & myself, this put a damper in the weekend getaway we had had planned for months as I felt like I was being babysat, not able to fully enjoy a weekend away with friends. As beautiful as the views are & the house itself, I didn't really appreciate no warning or information saying that the owner of the house would in fact be underneath the entire time, popping her head up when she heard the BBQ ignition & receiving text messages as the TV was "too loud" when in fact it couldn't be heard outside the property, not even on the balcony just outside extending off the house.
