Beachbumz@kiama in BONAIRA STREET, is a restored 1954 BEACH semi, the smaller of two adjoining unit Beachdayz@kiama with a private and leafy garden courtyard. With a stylish yet relaxed FUN and fresh SEASIDE HOLIDAY feel, the classic Australian cottage is centrally located close to town in the area originally named 'Beachside', within walking distance of 3 beaches, a great little cafe around the corner and 1.2 km walk along an ocean path to the main shopping strip, cafes and restaurants.

Within a 5 minute walk: A handy corner store/deli/groceries, a cafe, a fish&chip/hamburger shop and a bottle shop

Hear the soothing sounds of the ocean at night time.

Guests have exclusive and private access to the entire apartment. A code to key safe located at property is provided prior to arrival, for GUEST SELF CHECK IN.

Kendalls beach is a few minutes walk, and a few more minutes along the ocean path takes you to Surf Beach. Easts Beach is a 15 minute walk south with a beautiful detour meandering through the Bonaira rainforest garden. A very pretty little town, Kiama is self sufficient for a perfect holiday, with cafes, restaurants, beaches and natural rockpools.

The contemporary ECLECTIC MIX of vintage, retro and RELAXED furnishings enhance the original high ceilings, features and RETRO CHARM of the house, preserved from the 1950's.

The cottage accommodates 4 adults in 2 bedrooms.

A QUEEN BED in bedroom 1 and a SINGLE/DOUBLE BUNK BED combo in the second bedroom.

A FULLY EQUIPPED NEW KITCHEN, with Vittoria coffee pod machine. A fresh NEW BATHROOM RENO, light & airy open living area and 2 OUTDOOR DINING areas. To the north, a sunny, protected rear verandah through French doors, and a leafy garden courtyard at the front. A relaxed and rustic charm preserved from the 1950's era, yet very contemporary and comfortable with everything you will need.

Free NBN WIFI for basic emails and communications. Can be slow if the house is at it's maximum numbers and everyone is on the net at once.

Early check in and late check out when available

Although technically one of two, the unit FEELS MORE LIKE A HOUSE. The adjoining unit, beachdayz@kiama MAY BE BOOKED TOGETHER to accommodate a maximum of 9. Each unit has a private entrance and garden, and is designed to successfully minimize noise transfer between dwellings.

The cottage is professionally cleaned to a high standard using environmentally friendly GREEN CLEANING products.

A Portacot, Highchair and Valco pram with bassinet are available for hire - $20 each per stay, plus $30 refundable security deposit on cleaned and undamaged return for each item. No charge for the highchair.

Well behaved, non-barking dogs by arrangement and prior discussion to determine suitability. An additional charge of $20 per pet per night will apply. Please do not 'instant book' without discussing pet arrangements.

A bus stops outside the door on the hour, travelling to local shops, cafes and the Main Street only 1.2km away, but a handy transport option. Kiama station is 1k away. Sydney is a 2 hr picturesque train trip from Kiama.

"THE LOCATION: Kiama, on the NSW South Coast, is a port town turned tourist haven that swells with visitors during summer, but is an excellent getaway destination all year round. The region is a scenic delight, with sun-drenched beaches located a stone's throw from the gloriously green rolling hills of the hinterland.

THE PLACE: Located five minutes' drive from the town centre, Beachbumz is a beach house with a retro sensibility that radiates charm and comfort. Two bedrooms easily accommodate a family or two couples. The house is comfortably furnished with an outdoor verandah that is perfect for catching the dappled afternoon sun. The temptation to put your feet up and remain past departure time is hard to resist. Picturesque Kendalls Beach is a leisurely stroll away.

THE EXPERIENCE: Take a dip at one of three beaches nearby. Active families can wander the treetop walkways of the Minnamurra Rainforest, or make a splash at Jamberoo Action Park. For couples, a drive through the region's ambling roads will invariably take you past one of the many local wineries, while intrepid types can tread the six-kilometre Kiama Heights to Gerringong coastal track for some stunning scenery."

Had everything we needed, was super clean & tidy, easy stroll to Kendalls beach, & the bonus was the Jemfish takeaway, Manning Street Cellars (excellent beer selection) & general store just around the corner. Vicki the owner was extremely helpful. Loved it.

Vicky was in contact through the big storms we had to make sure the kids and I were ok. Despite the bad weather the house was conveniently located to visit Kiama and surround towns.
