Description

Fabulous 4 bedroom family holiday beach house with amazing views and solar heated pool.

Beachwood house is a Californian style Beach House boasting 240 degree ocean views from Narrawallee Beach to Green Island and Point Perpendicular and south towards Mollymook Beach. Mollymook Beach is located near Ulladulla, in the Shoalhaven region of the South Coast, NSW.

Beachwood is positioned high on Mitchell Parade on Bannister Headland. It is an easy walk to the northern end of Mollymook Beach and the southern end of Narrawallee and Jones beaches. Fifty meters to the world famous Rick Steins Restaurant "Bannisters By The Sea". A few minutes drive to many popular beaches and surfing spots.

From the large wrap around balcony you will enjoy afternoon sea breezes and the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over the water. Equally, you will enjoy the private, child friendly, sheltered back garden and entertaining deck, before jumping into the solar heated salt water swimming pool.

Beachwood has been tastefully furnished for a comfortable, relaxing holiday feel, or short stay. Ideal for families and friends to get together as the house sleeps 10 comfortably.

INCLUSIONS

Linen IS INCLUDED all year round. This includes quality sheets, pillowcases, doonas and blankets, bath towels, tea towels and bath mats. We will have the beds made for you when you arrive.

The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you are likely to need. There are cleaning products, as well as cleaning equipment for the BBQ. We also supply items like cling wrap garbage bags,foil, paper towels and tea towels.

The pantry has all the basics including olive oil, vinigar, salt and pepper an assortment of spices, tea bags, instant coffee, sugar, and a Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of pods.

Two Port-a-Cots and two highchairs and internal Baby Gates are available at no extra cost.

ACCOMMODATION

There is a great open plan kitchen, large dining and living area with the bathroom and master bedroom room upstairs along with a separate rumpus downstairs with tv and PlayStation and door out to the garden and pool area perfect to give the kids their own space. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

The kitchen has modern appliances and all you'll need to cook up a storm.

LOUNGE

The lounge has amazing views with a Smart TV, FOXTEL, Netflix, Blu Ray player, and a great selection of DVDs.

Reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating and also a wood heater awaits for those cosy winter nights.

DINING

A large dining table accommodates ten to twelve comfortably. Sliding doors opening onto the deck area and amazing 240-degree views.

KITCHEN

A well equipped kitchen with chilled water refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, gas cook-top, and large pantry. A utility cupboard houses the iron and ironing board.

BEDROOMS

Bedroom 1: Queen sized bed located upstairs overlooking the pool area with external access that leads onto the rear deck. There is a large robe.

Bedroom 2: Queen sized bed with filtered ocean views. There is a large robe. This is located on the ground floor.

Bedroom 3: Queen sized bed with large robe,also located on the ground floor

Bedroom 4: A Trio bunk Single top and double below with single roll away trundle underneath sleeping 4 comfortably.

This room is off the downstairs rumpus/childrens space

BATHROOMS/LAUNDRY

There are 2 large bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a large spa bath.

The laundry is downstairs, with a third toilet and is accessible from the rear deck and pool areas. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer for convenience and the clothes line is around the corner for those sunny days.

OUTSIDE

There is a SOLAR HEATED salt-water pool, and outdoor shower. An entertaining area with BBQ. The rear yard is fully fenced yard out the back and plenty of deck room available both upstairs and downstairs. Plenty of parking, with a large remote controlled lock up garage and room on the driveway for another three cars to be parked.

PETS

Unfortunately pets are not permitted at this property.

Whats close by:

It is a short stroll down to the patrolled Mollymook Beach. In the other direction, via an easy bush path, is Narrawallee Beach. Also Jones Beach is close by and ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.

A 5-minute walk down via Jones Avenue is the Mollymook Shopping centre, which offers a cafe, chemist, bakery, supermarket, delicatessen, a butcher, extensive newsagent, takeaway food shop, art gallery, liquor shop and the famous new Tallwoods. The new Bannisters Pavilion, Bannisters By The Sea’s little sister, is now open.

A stones throw away is Rick Stein’s restaurant: Bannisters By The Sea.

The historic town of Milton is a five minute drive away. Known for its popular cafes, restaurants, boutiques, antique shops, two family friendly pubs and the historic Milton Theatre and live music.

Cupitt’s Winery is minutes away as is Mollymook’s two golf courses. One is the 18 hole Hilltop and the other is the 9 hole Mollymook Beachside Golf course and Club house.

Ulladulla Harbour has fishing and diving charter all year round. The Ulladulla town centre has major supermarket chains, boutiques, cafes, Movie Theatre, Library etc.

Bush walking is also popular and includes the Pigeon House Mountains and many other walks.

The Ulladulla region is a mecca for surfers and all types of water sports. Mollymook has something for everyone.

Things to know:

Beachwood House is located in a residential area within the Shoalhaven City Council area, and as such is subject to a acceptable noise policy, which requires you to keep noise at a reasonable level at all times.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from beautiful spot Our first time in Mollymook. Lovely spot and house was beautiful, clean and had everything two families needed. Views were great and we were lucky enough to spot lots of whales. Only downside was the shutters in the house did not block any light so it meant early wake ups and hard for day sleeps for kids.

The 'Hamptons Style' interiors were spotlessly clean, with every amenity provided to ensure a fab stay. Our group ranged from 2 - 62, and every member of the family loved Beachwood House! From the stylishly appointed rooms, to the DVDs and Playstation 4, fast WIFI and cook's kitchen, the house is perfect for both short and long stays. The beautiful view over the ocean was the perfect whale watching spot too! Thanks again Jeanette :D

This house is exactly as advertised - luxury, space, practicality, views (we saw whales from the balcony!), pool, proximity to Bannisters (restaurant, spa), Nespresso coffee machine. Everything you could want for a getaway - don't book anywhere else.

The owner was lovely to deal with. Property was breathtaking and had all the extra little touches, including high chairs, baby gates and portocots as well as other lovely things to make it feel like a home away from home. We will definitely be back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A luxurious beach getaway, all year round My girlfriends and I spent the weekend at Beechwood for a winter getaway. From the moment we pulled up in the driveway of the Hamptons style home we instantly hit holiday mode. The styling of the house is modern yet relaxed and ever so tasteful. The towels and bedlinens were high quality and much more like something you would find in a 5 star hotel rather than a beach house. The house was also spotlessly clean. Host Jeanette has put plenty of thought and attention into making the home a relaxed yet luxurious experience for guests. From the bottle of wine on arrival, the current magazine collection, board games, to the generously stocked pantry, no detail has been overlooked. For the technology addicts the house has free wifi, Bluetooth stereo system and Netflix! Even the fireplace was pre-constructed with firelighters and kindling so all the user has to do is add a flame and firewood when required! While we chose to leave our partners and children behind the house is certainly large enough to cater for multiple families and even has a separate entertainment area downstairs for the kids. The pool out the back will also keep young ones entertained in the warmer months. We spent our evening by the fire enjoying wine and snacks and the days exploring the various eateries in Milton and Ulladulla and even took a quick dip in the ocean (yes, in mid July). There are also plenty of walking tracks in the area and all information is provided in a folder at the house. For a really special treat, Bannisters by the Sea is literally across the road for a fine dining experience. I highly recommend staying here, either for a cosy winter retreat or family summer getaway. This house is amazing and will not disappoint.
