The quintessential beach house, the views are to die for, as soon as you arrive you will start to relax. Decorated in a relaxed, coastal style, well equipped with views from all communal spaces the cottage is light filled. Located on one level you can walk from house to deck to garden in just a few steps. The location, the ambiance and the outdoors space are pretty unique at Cliff Avenue Mollymook Beach on Bannisters Head.
The Cottage is the ideal beach house with spectacular ocean views perfect for whale watching from the living areas, wrap around entertaining decks and sunny garden make for a truly relaxing stay.
Open plan living gives views over the rocks and out to the water and south down the coastline. In winter a wood burning fire turns The Cottage into a cosy and romantic hideaway. The cottage is ideal for couples, family or friends.
We have a large, deep and comfortable L-shaped sofa you will sink into in the evening to kick back with a glass of wine and take your pick from the many DVD's available to watch.
The cottage boasts a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with European appliances, large fridge, induction cooktop, microwave, food processor, juicer and Nespresso machine we provide a few pods, but feel free to bring more. The kitchen leads through to the laundry facilities and the side door to our outdoor beach shower - perfect for a rinse after a dip in the ocean. Adjacent to the kitchen is an oak dining table seating six, or opt to dine outside on the deck which also provided formal dining for six, including a large umbrella.

We leave large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom for your use and sunscreen too please try and remember not to take it home.
Located just 10 doors from Bannisters means fine dining, delectable brunches and kicking back in the wine bar are just a stroll away.
The Cottage has lots of character and feels like home. It is a family holiday home and we try to leave things in the house which may be helpful, its not just a "holiday rental". We hope you will love it as much as we all do.
The whole house is yours to enjoy including our sunny back garden with its secret path through the reserve, leading you onto the Bannisters Point headland to spot those whales, seals and dolphins.
Our beautiful large Banksia provides a shady area to read a book and the gentle slope is perfect for the kids to "slip and slide" with a conveniently placed hosepipe for use.
Interaction with guests
We can provide recommendations for personally tried and tested babysitters.
We have also tried ALL the local restaurants and cafes and and happy to share suggestions or any other useful advice I can impart. My personal faves are Tallwood, Cupitts and Milkhaus, not to forget the awesome "fish-shop" at Burrill Lake and Hayden's Pie Shop in nearby Ulladulla.
Other things to note
Quality linen is provided for your stay however you will need to bring your own beach towels.
We really appreciate it if board games are packed away correctly and DVD's returned to their boxes.
Strict "No Party policy" which also includes weddings or schoolies bookings as per the terms.
Please note that we don't provide firewood, but we do leave a small amount of kindling, a couple of firelighters and matches for your use. If you would like to make full use of the wood burning fire, we suggest picking up a bag of firewood at the gas station in Milton or Bunnings in Ulladulla. Please also note that there will be some ash in the fireplace, it is actually meant to be there for the fire to work most efficiently."
