Light and bright, The Cottage is the ideal beach house. Spectacular ocean views (perfect for whale watching) from the living areas, wrap around entertaining decks and sunny garden make for a truly relaxing stay. In winter a wood burning fire turns The Cottage into a cosy and romantic hideaway.
Recently renovated, The Cottage is ideal for couples or a family, with stylish new kitchen, bathroom, decor and furniture throughout. A huge Papaya lounge is ideally for kicking back on with a book/moveie/glass of wine. The bifold on one side and louvred windows on the other create a lovely cross breeze to keep you cool in the height of summer. There are three generous bedrooms all with ceiling fans and storage (one king bedroom, queen bedroom and third bedroom with two singles).
There are always bunnies in the garden in the morning and evening and we are frequently visited by kookaburra's and the resident soaring Sea Eagle.
The sunny and shady garden is great for kids whether it be a kick about, having a picnic under the large banksia or playing in the paddling pool, there are also a couple of boogie boards, bat and ball, some toys and books, baby change mat, kids cutlery and crockery and a booster sit that fits both inside and outside dining chairs.
Located just 10 doors from Bannisters means fine dining, delectable brunches, a spa treatment or just kicking back in the wine bar are just a stroll away. Recently opened is the wonderful Tallwood Restaurant about 10 minutes walk away on Tallwood Avenue which is excellent and highly recommended for a visit for dinner. Here you can also find the local IGA, a bottle shop, chemist, deli (coffee!!), fish and chip shop and a great butchers. We can also provide details of tried and tested local babysitters if required
The Cottage has every inclusion to make for a comfortable stay, including plasma TV, CD//DVD, iPod dock, loaded Apple TV with music and movies, gas barbecue, nespresso machine, fully kitted gourmet kitchen with induction hob, also food processor, juicer, pasta maker, laundry facilities, outdoor beach shower and full inside and outside dining. Highly recommended is a trip to Cupitts Winery for either some wine tasting, jazz, lunch or dinner or their great growers markets
if seafood is your thing then Lucky's in Ulladulla will not disappoint. One of the main suppliers to Rick Stein's restaurant they have a great, super fresh selection which normally includes a range of line caught fish.
If you have bad weather and have children a trip to the aquatic centre in Ulladulla is worth the trip to expend some energy.
